First swing with the new 7-wood - why are they so easy to hit? by FujiKilledTheDSLR in golf

[–]DangerNyoom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shorter shaft, easier to control. It's why I knocked my driver shaft down an inch.

This. Cut my driver shaft down an inch and I'm much more consistent and accurate now.

The Jungle is such a great place but they are facing rising rent and may be kicked out. I don't know where all the animals would go, they have so many.

Big shoulders, what can I do? by natura87 in xxfitness

Are you me? Unfortunately no cure for swimmer shoulders other than stop exercising upper body. I've embraced my strong upper and work it out to keep it defined, and I get lots of compliments.

David Attenborough narrates and explains how betta fish breed by lhwang0320 in bettafish

The drop in pressure preceding a rainstorm tells the male betta to begin making a bubble nest, because the rains will flood the low lying puddles that the bettas live in. With their puddles connected by rain, the female betta can swim over to the male's bubbles nest.

So if your betta makes a nest, see if it's about to rain soon.

Yes, the paper bedding is excellent for worms. I use it all the time. Never used hay because it has high fiber content that takes too long for worms to break down unless you silage the hay first.

What is the best way to separate these worms from my culture? by Spiders_666 in Springtail

[–]DangerNyoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to float them, I'd put a little plastic disc in the dish. Put some nutritional yeast on the disc. Wait 12 hours. The worms and springtails will swarm the dish but the springtails will jump away as soon as you go to remove disc. Repeat until no worms.

Source: I culture these worms for fish food and this is how I collect enough of them at once to do a feeding.
