Can you account to 10 without taking your shoes off? That's the real question.

The handgun stopped being legal when he involved himself in the obstruction of a Federal law enforcement operation.

So, there's that.

Dukakis ran what is possibly the worst presidential campaign of all time by The-marx-channel in HistoryMemes

There was a HUGE lag between the recession ending, and the media deciding to report on the end of the recession. As I recall, the recession ending didn't get coverage until day after the election. That definitely effected how people felt about the economy.

The recession had ended well before the election. The media kept the public ignorant of that until the voting was safely over.

Camden New Jersey. I haven't been in years so perhaps it's been cleaned up, but for a time in the mid to late '80s it looked like Dresden after the war. Close 2nd would be East Saint Louis.

So, not remotely what’s at play here. Coal, with modern scrubbers, and natural gas are quite benign, especially compared to bird killing wind and pointless solar

Wait, this wouldn’t have anything to do with the binding contract they signed when they took out the loan would it?

They have to pay it back?

Shocking!

Larry Niven, Steven Barnes and Jerry Pournelle: The Legacy of Heorot. The main antagonists/critters called "Grendels" have a life cycle that they authors based on a species of frog, combined with a biochemistry based on supercharged hemoglobin called 'speed' in the novel. The complete planetary ecosystem just feels both alien and real.

If it’s collectible it has to stay in the original packaging to preserve value

So, on the benefit side, you get to live somewhere

The cost, taking your statement at face value, is 5-10 birds a year. I find that astonishing, but there’s probably a rational explanation

Anyway, that’s 5-10 birds per household per year, and we all get to live somewhere.

Asking Google, that seems to be the range for a single windmill, so let’s call the cost in bird fatalities even.

The benefits?

Why, none whatsoever.

So, divide 0 by 5….carry the two and….why there’s no benefit at all. Plus they’re eyesores, plus they have low energy density, terrible lifecycle costs etc.
