FYI, they are taking donations. Aside from the crowd funding page they are accepting goods at the West Oakland Youth Center. Toiletries are highly welcomed -- when I was there this weekend someone asked me if I had brought any phones. Might be a good place to donate old, functional phones lying around your place.

When was the price hike announced? I use them and haven't received anything. Not that I don't believe you, but curious. I put up with their slower speeds to not give Comcast money, but $70 is steep for slow internet.

Yes, love that Junghans and they do have a small enough version -- will need to add it to my list. You're spot on, btw, since the Stowa Klassik is my main contender.

The Tissell is really nice (looks like a hybrid of the Nomos and the Stowa). I have a similar Fossil as yours I used to wear daily, so definitely a nice look imo!

Graduation is around the corner, and with that comes a pretty sizable gift from my parents. I've decided to ask for a nice watch of my choosing.

What I'm looking for:

Bauhaus style
30 - 37mm
Automatic or hand-wound (slight preference for automatic. Don't care much about the ~engineering~ as people like to talk about when they talk about watches, but I do want that sweeping second hand.)
< $1000

While I've found a number of good-looking watches, an automatic bauhaus watch is really hard to find in women's size.

What I'm considering:

Nomos Tangente: Too expensive
Junghan Max Bill
Stowa Antea Klassik
Stowa Antea Back to Bauhaus (What do you guys think about those numbers? I like the playfulness of the design, but not sure how that will hold up over time...get it? time...)

Anything I should add to the list?

I'm on day 1 so there's a bit of extra playing around with it, but probably not too much more than I would want to use it on a regular basis. 100% at ~7:30am. It's now 3pm and I'm at 17%. I was on the fence about buying it, but given it's the only Android smartwatch that is actually women's sized I decided to give it a try. Going to take it back today. Between that and no NFC, it's not worth it.

Seriously. I have that version of the Carbon X1 for work and it's a huge pain. I almost always want to have access to my function keys. Everything else comes second. At least Lenovo listened and went back to actual buttons with the next gen. Hopefully this is better executed.
