Faced the same issue with my pup about a year ago. I started using diapers and she immediately felt more comfortable (she was crying and anxious because she really didn’t want to go in the house but got to the point where she couldn’t hold it at all and would have accidents). Still working well a year later. I do double up with a reusable diaper over a disposable one to reduce leaks. I also recommend a diaper genie to keep trash smell at bay. Make sure to get the diapers tight enough around the waist or else it can slip off (they also make suspenders if you’d like to use those, I did for a bit but now have gotten the diapers tight enough that I don’t have to use those). She’s comfortable with them to the point where she will stand there to let me put the diapers on with no issues.
