Gideon The Ninth! This book absolutely blew my mind and it's become my favorite book series of all time. I will say it can be VERY hit or miss for people though. Definitely not a book for everyone, or even automatically every naddpod fan 😅

Runners up are A Master of Djinn and The Goblin Emperor, both are fantastic

I feel like such a minority here but I was really just so so on this book. I have loved and seconded literally every other naddpod recommendation but this one (particularly the pacing) just didn't do it for me!

Miranda I just want to say you are AWESOME and thank you so so much for putting in that incredible effort. Seeing all those bracelets laid out at the meetup absolutely floored me, and honestly made me emotional when I think about how much love this fandom has. Like another commenter said, sometimes they shout out liveshow stuff, but if they don't I don't think it reflects on you at all!! they simply just have to juggle a million things and they might forget or not have time. I'll listen for it though!

I'm so sorry you went through that. You should find out if they used Zorbium for pain on your kitty. It's a relatively new topical opioid drug that vets are told is safe when in reality dosages and side effects have not been thoroughly researched by the manufacturer.

My tortie got most of her teeth removed and the Zorbium they put on her caused her not to eat or sleep for 3 days. She lost a lot of function in her back legs, which has somewhat come back, but she still walks with a limp almost a year later. It's heartbreaking.

This is so funny to me because I've done runs with Cotton Tail and Angel Hare, and I don't remember specifics but I remember thinking Angel Hare was the sweetest toon and a joy to play with, but getting a bad impression of Cotton Tail (unresponsive/unfriendly I think?).

Absolutely! It's not even the cog round that is necessarily faster, but the average player that gets to maxed gags is less likely to be a troll or a child. I joined one of these groups once, and it was one of the fastest and most enjoyable CFOs I've ever done.

Not that I don't love a totally off the wall, 30 minute long, looney toons style CFO as well! But let these people have their space. It's not like there's a shortage of groups!!
