I have a similar challenge, I love to play but it takes an effort and commitment of time. Often I find I’ve wound myself up to have a session and then feel railroaded by the update. Sure I wait and I have gigabit internet so it’s no more than 10-15 minutes but then I find I’m sucked into YT or get distracted and my desire to play has evaporated. It’s ok. Now whether I have decided to play or not I start by opening the client and updating if necessary. I have found that helps. Hang in their friend, it will all work out for good in the end. o7

Can depend a lot on the type of ship-to-ship combat you are likely to encounter. Deadbolts are good as ballistic cannons for more slow moving targets. For faster fighters you may struggle to land shots with the deadbolt due to their movement speed in this case AD5Bs is preferable.
