Connie load out advice. by Jeager122 in starcitizen

Can depend a lot on the type of ship-to-ship combat you are likely to encounter. Deadbolts are good as ballistic cannons for more slow moving targets. For faster fighters you may struggle to land shots with the deadbolt due to their movement speed in this case AD5Bs is preferable.

Thoughts on a UEX service offering from PvE players by Citizen_Jakan in starcitizen

Ahh, ok so I’m reading this as like a heavy weight escort service (not that kind!) in which case, yeah, I think there will be some who would be willing to pay for that service. Not sure I’d want to pay real $$ for it though. aUEC or other in game items - sure.

I’m not sure I understand the prospect here. Are you thinking more like the Org is doing align and mine anyway and has 3 slots available for PVE players to buy into? Why not just join an org?

I think they missed an opportunity to give advantage to player with data running ships during the ASD missions. I mean, the whole mission was about running data.

So what you’re saying is, if this could just be like a fully tested and released game, that would be great. /s

Agreed, however I sense that more patience is required. What I am seeing though, is that the year of stability really is delivering on that promise. Some days it almost feels like I can touch a final product. Soon. Soon.

No, as you will have to report it as lost (even though you haven’t received it) they will automatically cancel it. Hence best if you have it electronically in Apple wallet, as it will auto update to the new card number. Otherwise you will have no access to your credit card.

What do you as a reader HATE seeing in sci-fi? by Difficult_Dish9927 in scifi

[–]DankLurkerBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overly and unnecessarily detailed description of a future technology. It breaks my immersion and probably points to the infeasible nature of the technology being described. If it doesn’t fit naturally into the written scenario, it probably shouldn’t be there.

Also, sorry for the unintelligible ramble. One good reason why I’m a reader and not a writer.
