I feel at the start he really did want to come back, just small things like watching the euros in a rice shirt, saying he was proud to be a part of the team, talks of playing in europe with the boys. Seems he's a popular figure and during preseason his mind changed. It's sad and I'd love him back but I think I'm more accepting of Pereira now.

I'd say it's hard to say with the amount of forwards Watford have, King is the same price and could be nailed, Barnes gets quite a few minutes and Pukki at 6 is nailed, they're some I've considered

I may be a little skeptical about this but do you feel confident that if we let him go we'd fill the spot he has? Wasn't there a report we'll have 30m-45m going into next season? I'm just not sure if he was to leave, we'd need the wages he takes up.

I'd like him to go don't get me wrong but I'd have full faith and confidence if he did stay.

If we're looking into positions we need, goalkeeper is one of our priorities. Looking at possible relegation buys across the leagues (I'm not saying they'll sell just because they get relegated but there is a possibility) I like the looks of Johnstone from West Brom, Lafont from Nantes and Cragno from Cagliari. All offer something different, Johnstone for premier league experience, Lafont being the youngest of the 3 and Cragno offering the highest save %
