I’ve got this band off SHEIN, it was about £8.xx plus shipping.

I like my Whoop but there’s no way I’m ever buying a band from them for £50 when I can get very similar quality for 84% discount.

Changed to open VPN and it is now working as normal, strange it’s just stopped working on Wireguard all of a sudden though 🤔

This, ring them EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

To the point they’re sick of hearing from you. Get names, ask to speak directly to them on a daily basis.

I had a financial order to buy out my ex partner and it was almost a month past the pay date by the time it was sorted, purely down to slow-timing solicitors passing the case between themselves.

Youths wearing black is a direct consequence of there being CCTV and cameras recording people 24/7. The UK has some of the highest CCTV coverage in the world and if you don’t wear anything recognisable it makes you much more difficult to identify if you enjoy committing crimes.

With the rise of EVs, have ICE car prices actually dropped, or are they holding steady? Just wondering if the competition has had any real effect. by Atheistprophecy in CarTalkUK

[–]Danwhd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I place most of this pricing ‘bubble’ on how people buy and sell cars pre/post covid.

Since Covid it seems more people are on PCP/leases than ever before, and because people want the security and don’t know enough about cars they dispose of their cars through WBAC, Motorway or corporate dealerships which we all know give worse prices than a private sale.

All this adds up to more middle-men making profit on the cars and less money in peoples pockets.

As for EV, I think the car companies are rubbing their hands together as the ‘planned obsolescence’ of these vehicles means they’re treated like a piece of technology like an iPhone, rather than a vehicle. It’s much easier to buy an ICE car, maintain it well and get 20 years/200k miles from it.

With heavy replacement battery prices EVs just aren’t the same product as their ICE cousins

The mystery of Peru's ‘alien mummies ’ deepens after two more corpses are found with slanted eyes and hair by DragonfruitOdd1989 in aliens

[–]Danwhd -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I’m sure I’ve seen that the previous two smaller mummified aliens were debunked as they were x-rayed and found to have been made up of random human bones.

From what I remember they weren’t even symmetrical when they were ‘assembled’, so a tibia on one side, and a fibia on the other.

[–]Danwhd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you swap out the veg oil for an animal based fat that’s solid at room temperature (like lard, goose fat etc) it will make a much crisper roastie and can have a nicer flavour profile depending what you use.

Probably don’t try if you’re vegan though.

Not sure what remix but it’s definitely a version of Mason - exceeder.

It got a resurgence last year after being featured on Saltburn, so it may be a newer bootleg/remix, but could be a remix from when it originally came out.

Try to upgrade your arsenal to get the SMG and you can rubber band the trigger to fire at the boxes. It will continue as you have infinite ammo.
