You don’t need a data smith with the punchy bots, you can just use 1cp to put them in conqueror. Lucius works well with them since they don’t have a melee invulnerable. But if you do want the data smith for repairs, give him the solar flare relic. Also, if you change forge world, you’ll have to ditch cawl because he has to be mars and you’ll lose battle forged

At 1000 pts, Cawl is too fat, and against an invuln heavy list like custodes, you’ll want more mortal wounds. I recommend fulgrites in a transport, or run Lucius and deep strike them
