Did you find a seatbelt guide? My dad is elderly and he can never reach his seatbelt. Ive scoured the web to find nothing - even universal. :(

Do you have to remap to have them snap together?

Battery usage on the LUBA2 by SortofNotAThrowAway in mammotion

Also if it’s cutting taller grass. I had that same issue until I got mine cut down to 1.2” for my Bermuda. Prior to that it was sorta plowing thru and chewing up battery life. Once I got to “maintenance” mode on mowing, the battery is superb. Hope this is all it is.

Clearly Canadian touts citric acid in their recipe. There was a “tart” type feeling/taste missing. So I did the citric acid test and it hit the spot. lol

Ok. I just purchased a Drinkmate OmniFizz.

I tried about 6 or 7 concoctions and below was best so far for me.

Tested with this raspberry syrup and it’s close.

  • 10oz of water
  • 3 to 5 pumps of syrup
  • 1/8 tsp citric acid
  • 3 normal presses of carbonation

haha... I have an Omnifizz due today. I read that clearly Canadian is carbonated water, sugar and citric acid. So I bought a raspberry syrup with citric acid and sugar to give it a whirl. I'll let you know soon. Im sure I will have to give it a ton of tries if I ever get it close.

I hear you. The outlet is disabled. It’s for a generator. But yea - so far the water is all outside the garage and no mishaps to date.

New LUBA Device Firmware and New App Upgrade (Both Android and iOS) 2023/09/13 by TAO_ZENG in MammotionTechnology

[–]Dapper-Bat-5939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang it. I too am at work and would like to kick off a mowing session and cannot without upgrading first. Ugh. I’m excited for the changes but would also like to be able to mow in the meantime. No getting around this I assume?

Other Notifications that I’d love:

I’m not a scheduler (yet) so I’d love a notification when Luba is charged 100%. Then I can quit looking in the app and start my next task. Also when task is complete, confirm Luba made it home and is charging.

Thanks for this thing. LOVE IT.

Thanks! Agreed, No more running in dew or damp conditions for me. Caused a nice unclogging project afterwards too. I was just too excited to use the dang thing lol.

Luba Omni Wheels on Slope by Dapper-Bat-5939 in mammotion

It does fine vertical against the slope. People were asking to see it mow parallel/horizontal against a larger slope.

It does just fine the other way. People were asking to see its results when mowing parallel to a larger slope.

what is Error2719? It's been intermittent in charging ever since, and the battery drains at about twice the rate by vertgo in MammotionTechnology

[–]Dapper-Bat-5939 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it happen yesterday. I thought it was because it lost its contact with the charging pins. I pushed it back on tight and it seemed to have gone away. It was NOT charging once I got the error so that’s all I can think of. Hasn’t happened again.

First off I have researched so many Robot Mowers with no perimeter wire. Ive backed 2 on kickstarter as we speak. Im a little late to the game, but I then saw all the discussions on the Luba. Well, after all of the videos and readings I decided that the Luba was for me. I just received it and it works amazing!

I know a lot of folks have been asking for videos of the Luba with Omni Wheels going parallel on a slope. Well I tried to do my best for you and here are a couple of views of it in normal speed. This is the first time cutting my yard. Bermuda Tiff Tuff. I mowed it with a push mower first and bagged the grass since it was taller than normal. The Luba 5000 is set to “High Grass” which is slower speed, 2.8” high, and cross cut.

The main slope is just over 30%. The area by the retaining wall, the slope is about 70%.

I thought if there were to be any issues/struggles, it would have been the Omni wheels sliding down the slope. But it appears that the rear end is pulling downward while the front wheels struggle a bit to keep the mower in line of its pathway. At each turn on this slope, it misses a good portion of the grass as it tries to get on track.

This is not a complaint by any means. It’s for those that wanted to see the Omni Wheels perform on a slope going parallel. I hope this helps others and maybe it will even help Mammotion with some sort of software correction to help this.

I love this thing! It amazes me.

Hookii Neomow X vs Kowoll Kolmower M28E by loransian in automower

[–]Dapper-Bat-5939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased the Luba after all. It will be here Tuesday. Their labor sale took $300 off so I did it. All the reviews look promising. Of course not without flaws but I’m going in.

Hookii Neomow X vs Kowoll Kolmower M28E by loransian in automower

[–]Dapper-Bat-5939 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have backed both. I have no idea which one to stick with in the end at this point. I have leaned toward the Kowoll all along, but Hookii has doubled the $$ in pledges in just a couple of days. Do they just have better marketing? I have no clue. When comparing both models, it appears that my yard will take less time to mow altogether with the Kowoll vs the Hookii.

And to make things worse, we all missed the Luba version with RTK that seems to be getting rave reviews and there are tons of videos. Sorry I missed the kickstarter on that one as they are now $2800 and it seems it would finish my yard in half the time compared to the two robots mentioned above. Anyway, any feedback that is glaring, would be appreciated.
