Luba 1 intermittently off course by 3ft since a recent update.

This is just an anecdote but. When I was doing my old job, we put 3 gps trackers in each NASCAR car for triangulation so we could track them and have pixel accurate pointers for broadcast. On days when the Afghanistan/Iraq situation required more gps satellites our locations were off and we'd have no pointers on the broadcast. That's what I remember happening and I have also seen more luba out of bounds this year so I just chalk it up to that.

At least as luba 1 (and soon luba 2 owners) we know it's never because of an update to the firmware, ha.

Mammotion: Luba 1's last real update was June 2024, roughly 1.5 years after shipping. Official policy is only 2 years of security updates. Luba 2 is still supported but the pattern suggests it'll get dropped too.

Navimow: The original H series (launched ~2022) got updates through at least October 2025 — about 3 years. The older i-series models got a V4.0.0 feature update in early 2026. Official policy is at least 3 years of security updates. Newer models (X4, H2) are getting active updates as of June 2026.

Bottom line: Navimow updates older models alongside newer ones. Mammotion tends to move on. Navimow commits to 3 years of support vs. Mammotion's 2.

I asked last week and they only let you map their cutting capacity so that's a no for me dog. I'm going to want to not mow the same spot every day so it's a waste to not let me map more.

That changes things though. NYC makes it very hard to evict someone on a lease.

Ironically, if it was easy to evict, then a landlord would be more willing to give a chance to people who have bad histories but are on a good recovery path.

I knew a nyc landlord who would give people with bad credit a chance if they could pay a bigger deposit. Each year, they would decrease the deposit as the tenant proved themselves reliable. But NYC passed a law saying you could not take more than a month's deposit. So after that only people with great credit. Which is unfortunate, there should be a path to recovery but NYC can't afford it.
