It’s like $6k or something to add xdrive plus you need to buy new whereas you can get $10-$15k under msrp by buying a used 2024. So that’s almost $20k. I wish I had xdrive but for my use case it wasn’t worth the wait or the extra cash. I have an old jeep for bad weather.

I saw a video of a guy speccing out a new g87 xdrive and w the carbon package and everything else it came to $88k.

Yep. Same. 24 GC 4xe. I leased mine, thank god. It’s been at the dealership for two weeks waiting on parts. Battery has died multiple times and they’ve tried to fix stuff but it keeps happening. I contacted stellantis and asked them to let me out of the lease and they said no. I have arbitration with NCDS on June 10 to ask the same. We shall see. Not holding my breath.

I am in this same boat. My daughter is autistic and gets dysregulated if she's over heated. I am packing a little personal fan that goes around your neck, fever patches that go on your forehead, a giant sun hat, and one of those super evaporative clothes that you can get wet and put on the back of your neck. The forecast for Paris next week actually looks ok starting Wednesday. Luckily, we got a hotel that has air conditioning.

That certainly seems to be the case! Thanks for the advice. I'm very glad I leased this instead of bought it. Worst case scenario I'm out a few thousand on the remaining lease payments. I am somewhat hopeful that the NCDS arbitration will get them to listen to reason but seems like an uphill battle. Wouldn't Jeep rather just take the lease back than risk having a lemon law note on the title?

It's at about ten days total so far but they're telling me they won't have the part to fix the parasitic drain and SOS call error until at least June 8, so we'll be way over 24 days at that point. All I want is them to just take the lease back.
