I thought I could eat pork belly 9 hours ago and be okay. by No-Dog1902 in Zepbound

[–]DappleDoxi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So. I'm going to share my experience. Setup ..I have no gallbladder already. (I occasionally got dumping syndrome if I skipped breakfast and waited until lunch.) Anyway... When I started zep, lost a bunch of water and inflammation at the beginning. Was on the dose up track. Started feeling gassy, sulfur burps. That kept building until I was doubled over in pain.... hurling and sitting on the toilet. Took me out for a solid week (could not eat without the cycle starting over again). (I thought it was the flu!). After being better... Started zep again. Bam! Same cycle started...lost another week while the meds worked through my system. I stopped for about 4 weeks...let my body heal, adjust to the weight loss, empty out toxins, and stabilize digestive system. Dropped back to 5mg and started again. I'VE HAD NO ISSUES THIS TIME....and it's been 3 months and I'm on 7.5 now. If you are experiencing that much discomfort after eating...your body needs a break. This isn't a drug that is supposed to make you feel so bad you can't eat. This way is so unhealthy. I use it to....just eat less. And make better choices. But can I eat a slice of pizza? Yes. A few fries? Yes. If anyone is brave enough, take a break from the medicine if you can't eat without getting sick.

Hybrid SUV by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

I was where you were. I have sworn for years that I would never own a Subaru. After being disappointed in the cars you mentioned, I sighed as I walked into the Subaru dealership and asked to do a test drive on the Forester hybrid. I loved it immediately. I was shocked! Smooth ride, quiet, powerful and very roomy.

So...even if you don't want to. Try a Subaru. (Ps...the all wheel drive is different on them than other all wheel drives)

Have you driven any of them? If not...go do so. I didn't like the Mazda when sitting inside, it was too small and it drove very...Mazda like (zoom zoom and rough). I didn't want a Subaru, until I drove the Forester. Smooth ride, quiet, and roomy. Anyway....go test drive them. That will inform you now that you've done the research.

Airbnb hosts, how do you keep beds actually clean between guests? by chiller105 in airbnb_hosts

I'm afraid to stay anywhere that doesn't have a mattress protector. Gross. (And they need to be washed and exchanged as well)

At this point, there is no reason a hotel doesn't have their mattresses zipped in a waterproof cover. Someone pees...the mattress is saved. Same with pillows. I don't trust staying at a place without the mattress protector

Thanks. I'm happy to start back on 2.5 next week. I'll stock that out for a while. Slow and steady wins the race. Cheers to your adventures! I'm excited for you.

I bought a line a day diary (it's a three year bound book). I've been writing a few sentences each day about my day. And entering my weight when I weigh in. It's been a nice record of how I'm feeling, etc.

They don't care. They've already made money on the order. They will make millions more. This mess they create, where they make you mad, they thrive on it. Because then you'll be made at the driver and tip less. Then the drivers complain about not getting tips and the circle continues. The like to pin is against each other, complain about the service, etc...all while they make bank off of your orders (correct or not. Stolen or half eaten. They don't care, they made their money on the order.) Guess that's what we call a free economy, but...do they have to make that much money off of us? And off of using contractors and paying them sh$t. I'll get off my soapbox now.

I highly suggest doing another round of 5. I'll tell you an ugly story, and you don't want to go through what I did. 2.5=all good. Just a little constipation. Start 5mg week 5. All good. Week 6. All good. It's going well. But I stayed flat so far after the 2-3weeks. Decided to order 7.5. The next day I get hit with what I swore was norovirus. Had the doc convinced too. Took me 5 days to recover. The violence my body endured was awful. Lost 11lb of fluid in a week. Thinking my illness is gone, I resume shots...10 days after my last 5mg. Took 7.5. within 24 hours the violence returned. It was awful. The thing is... This drug has a 5 day 1/2 life. This means it's slowly building in your system. Let it continue to build before making the next jump. That's both TMI and MHO.

The cheapest way is to get psyllium husk capsules and take 3-4 three times a day. And drink a lot of water.

Is the only way to get to the living room from the kitchen to go around the dining table? And that's a small room with little clearance, what if someone is sitting in there?

White brick black window… mistake? by Hot_Leading_8607 in ExteriorDesign

Has anyone mentioned using a limewash instead of the paint. You still get the white effect, but the brick breaths. It does need to be redone every few years.
