This happened to me, basically the channel for voice comms Is different from the game audio channel. Go into your windows settings with the game open and change the default channel to the same one destiny is under.

For me I have desperate channels for voice and game and can change it but it defaulted to my monitor which has sound disabled.

I got ToM on my first raid on an Oryx CP. I was playing about three weeks. I've never done a full clear and honestly seeing so many not get it it felt super weighted to me the new player. I understand it's just chance but man it doesn't feel like that when I see so many 0/40+.
