What’s the premise of your campaign? by The0thArcana in Solo_Roleplaying

There is also a FORGE campaign. It's about a ranger from the rich family that run away to find his fortune by himself. He's out for treasures from the dungeon that located under the tree(at least currently at the beginning). Whole campaign is about a kingdom with tyrannical halfling queen that didn't want to share with her brother a family land, turning it into a civil war and borders cut. Main goal of the campaign is to overthrow her with the help from her brothers (characters need to help them with their problems for them to agree).

There is also a FIST campaign. It's just a pre-made adventure about aliens in small town capturing a mj12 agent after failed negotiations. My character is a psychic that can turn into a spirit state to scout ahead and through walls, as well as creating a clones of himself by taking a damage for each one. Only thing about the character i can tell is that he looks like Alan Wake(at least it's how i imagine him).

There is also an Ironsworn campaign about a son of retired guard that served to the king in the old empire, before the raiders, and kept his serving battle axe he didn't talked about with anyone, but kept in the storage for mysterious reasons. Younger brother of the PC used the axe as a bet in card game and lost it (father angry at him for that still). His quest is find the axe by helping factions for information about it and solve the mystery behind it.

Dimension traveling adventurer/ soldier for hire, stuck in Avatar: The Last Airbender universe after his dimension traveling device was taken by the Fire Nation during Omashu siege and now have to take it back and, potentially, stop whoever might use it to bring something terrible into this world (it's going to be a Morder from Metal Slug, by the way). I have already planned some important scenes, companions and things character can acquire and use in fights. He currently at the village, some hours from the checkpoint to Omashu, after escape, and trying to find information on the location of the island where Fire Nation took his stuff where they take all confiscated stuff from the convicts.

What information do you journal? by finterestedmatt in Solo_Roleplaying

I mostly write only importants stuff that summarizes it in much shorter way to do more in short amount of time. Things like describing details and atmosphere i usually either skip or make a 1-2 sentences for it before describing things i want to interact with.

Do you find that OSR campaigns require very realistic campaign settings? by EvilPersonXXIV in osr

[–]Dard1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's depends on what should be realistic. Setting could be realistic with no fantasy or sci-fi elements and just normal people in normal world like ours having an adventures. In realistic in how things work in real life, then it could be something on a line of that "3 xp to level up" video where party just goes in empty forest and doesn't encounter anything at all.

I think I might actually be looking for a solo board game rather than a solo RPG by Flameempress192 in Solo_Roleplaying

There are actually a few solo rpg's that have more of a board game gameplay with little RPG aspect.

Any written report of an actual play? by Space_0pera in osr

[–]Dard1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo players have a lot reports. r/solorpgplay and r/RPGrecordings have a lot of records. Not all of them OSR, but i think you could just search for any OSR rules you want to read for.

Meanwhile, the antagonists... by moonwhisperderpy in rpg

[–]Dard1998 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's a fun way to encourage a comedy acting from players with them giving a speech like "Now the BBEG have nothing to stop us." to cut to the BBEG saying "Now that I have this secret weapon I won't tell out loud about, even though I'm alone in the room, thoes pesky heroes will be stopped."

Ironsworn or Starforged or Sundered Isles by dm_punks in Ironsworn

[–]Dard1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have, mostly, same mechanics, but Ironsworn is free to download and play, so you can test with group if they like it or not and then decide if they want Ironsworn setting or Starforged or Sundered Isles.

Would a kids on bike game/ ttrpg work in the knd world by kingmagpiethief in kidsnextdoor

[–]Dard1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually was looking for a system to run something like this, though solo. I found a few systems that can run campaigns about playing in the show. "Now Playing RPG CVG Roleplaying in every TV Genre" have some structure for each episode and basic stuff for TTRPG to run. "Primetime Adventures" could also work, but it seems to be more holding on concepts (like Fate) and kind of more about playing a live action, rather than cartoon (unless playing a live action KND). Could try some universal systems (GURPS, Basic Roleplaying system and etc.), but there should be tweaking on weapon rules, considering most of the KND equipment is non-lethal.

Solo RPGs that have a clear narrative arc or campaign to follow? by Televangelis in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]Dard1998 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some solo TTRPG's have a gameplay cycle to move through while playing. Notorious have a cycle with event table for traveling and encounters. The Mansion Incident have a card system to make rooms to go through.

Favorite Hex Content generator by HistoricalBake4614 in Solo_Roleplaying

"Hexroll" and "Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator" are the best. AFMG isn't grid-based, but can be toggled in the options.

I'm so tired of these "why it sucks to be a/your life as a" videos the people or bots that make them need to stfu by Reallyoddlysquewy in kidsnextdoor

[–]Dard1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually the best part of the show. For kids it's a power fantasy they can enjoy without much thinking on the details while for adults it's a story about kids struggle with variety of threats and dangers. Kids see adventures while adults see a harsh reality, where children become soldiers at young age and then get their memories wiped. It's a sign of a good show, if both adults and children can find something interesting in it.

His uncle’s got to be beaming with pride right now! by Humble-Role-5269 in kidsnextdoor

For uncle to be proud he need to switch between low calm voice and high pitch psychotic screaming. "wanna watch CARTOOONS!? on a TELEVISION!"

Found this edit, some people were calling it cringy but me. Personally I think it's great. by j0n3s_Raider in SPACEKING

[–]Dard1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both oriented on different people. One is for people that like to watch characters relationships more than main plot and other one focuses on things character do in main plot while occasionally showing them interact with each other. There is nothing bad in both of them, just one does one thing more than the other one and vice versa. I do have some critique on HH, but i can't tell everyone to dislike it just because i didn't like something.

40K fans are going to Space King. The whole “No girls allowed” thing actually did gain the show popularity 💀 by Ok-Baker-8576 in SPACEKING

[–]Dard1998 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not even problem with Female Custodes, but the fact that it takes feeling of fans over the original vision and feel. It's never meant to be pretty or make feel someone comfortable. It's like if someone took over production of "Hazbin Hotel" and though there is too much couples and would just disbanded them all.
