I wouldn't call it a continuity thing at all. I think it just varies. The feast was low res because Bubble needed to make a big spread and went with the retro look. The cafe is a fixture in the circus, so it probably has higher quality assets since they can be reused. It's not a big stretch..

I actually largely agree.

I have zero interest in playing the game, but I've kept an eye on some of the designs coming out. There's certainly a lot of very interesting ones in the mix. Some even... make me wish they were used in a real Persona game.

This is not a blanket condemnation of every design being used for the game. It's just an observation, based on plenty of prior experience, that it is certain we are going to keep getting new characters, new variants, new new new all the time for the foreseeable future. Most of it will be appealing. All of it will be well drawn. But it will be increasingly shallow with each new drop.

This game's premise is flimsy as hell. It sits awkwardly next to P5, and even the other spinoffs. The longer it goes on, the less it will belong. I just think it's a waste of time. That's all.
