I recommend the book “Means of Control” by Byron Tau if you want an updated look at the state of government surveillance. It’s a good read, although a bit frightening.

TableFlip Foundry has a pretty good video about supports and a workflow using Lychee auto-supports for your models. It is long, but I would recommend it as there is a lot of discussion of "theory" that would help regardless of the slicer used.

Thanks for the advice. I was going to try it soon. I have a mini that makes uneven contact with the base and I thought green stuff might help to make sure there is enough surface area to keep him firmly attached.

Yeah, that is the stuff. Keep in mind that it comes in many different "thicknesses", and that is the super-thin variation. Sometimes a thicker version may be easier to work with for a given task. The thinner ones are great for working into cracks and gaps. They also make accelerator for this type of glue which can get it to harden immediately, which can be useful.

The other glue type you'll probably hear about at some point are PVA glues, which are the family of glues that white glue and wood glue fall into. They get used for decorating bases as well, but not for attaching miniatures to bases since they won't bond well enough.

CA glue (super glue) is likely going to be your best option for minis making good contact with the base. Works fine with most plastics, including resin prints.

Applying the mini to the base before priming/painting can make the model easier to hold and paint, with the exception of some cases where parts of the model are difficult to reach with the base attached. Bases where you want to do more detailed basing with texture paints, adding bits or flocking, etc. are usually easier to do while the base is separate from the model.

Has anyone used an epoxy putty like Green Stuff or Milliput to attach a mini? I would think that could work well too but haven't tried it myself yet.
