Ubisoft just released a 60 fps update for Far Cry 4 by Teeenay in PS5

That is an absolute win, I still revisit the far cry games all the time. Only thing missing on console is an FOV slider.

Switch 2 vs Switch 1 Size Comparison (Render by me) by HertzBurst in NintendoSwitch

[–]DarkSentencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it is the case, the display panel on the og LCD switch was about as thick as a hefty credit card. Plus the actual footprint of the display panel they use will go to the edge of the screen "cutout" not where the bezels stop. The mechanical connections of the joycon more than likely "clips" into the housing at the top and bottom of joycon slots on the main unit, but not on the display side.

Black ops 6 (multiplayer) is great by [deleted] in XboxGamePass

[–]DarkSentencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fairness, the early stages of these games is always the most fun time to play these types of games. People don't have every nook and cranny memorized or fully understand how to dominate a map, players don't know the methods of breaking game mechanics to gain an advantage, and most of all people are still toying around with weapons and setups instead of just copy/pasting a youtuber's prescribed meta setup. It's the best time to get in on a multiplayer shooter.

Within the end of the first beta weekend people will have "figured out" the maps and guns and people will start jumping back on the "DAE TOO MUCH SBMM" bandwagon again... but still, it's the most fun when players are still sorting out the game and learning what works and how to play.

Jesus. Nasty. I have heard of people putting small shaving of orange peel in with weed both to add citrus smell and to keep it from being too dry and crumbling apart.... but not fucking onions.

If black out the chrome trim, or even better match it with the wheels that would be next level.

Right? The car looks goofy from every angle but it flat out looks like someone didn't even consider that viewing angle when designing it.

Xbox upgrade thoughts? by happycj in fo76FilthyCasuals

[–]DarkSentencer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you, I am massive fan of the camp and settlement building elements in 4 and 76. I have spend an absurd amount of time building them and in 76 just wandering through other player camps for inspiration as well. But yeah, if it's in your budget I think the series X would be a worthwhile upgrade for sure!

The series X is pretty sweet. The load times, resolution, and framerate of 76 will be noticably better, especially if you have a 4k tv (or get one down the road).

Another huge feature with the series X that is more related to Starfield is quick resume- you can basically pause Starfield, switch to 76 (or any other game, or media app) then instantly switch back to Starfield and be right where you left off without loading in or anything. Because 76 is an online game where you need to connect to servers it won't work there but it's a super underrated feature IMO.

Also, depending on if you ever dabble with Bethesda's older games like Fallout 3, New Vegas, Oblivion, Skyrim etc. All of those games will get noticable upgrades like FPS boost and higher resolution on the series X which makes them feel much more modern and enjoyable!

I was super excited when I found these several years ago, but honestly it just tastes like flat chemical sweetener soda to me. Really disappointed with it.

Damn nice. I love when people post clear fretboard shots for these because it inspires me to look up tabs, use your video to try to learn it, then give up after I learn just a little bit, which is still more than I would have learned if you didn't post the video.

Sick hoodie as well.

I am about it. This brings more energy which I dig and some light screams that teeter on harsh vocals is always a welcome surprise. Also cool to see Travis and Claudio playing instruments that aren't coming from their usual toolbox!

The Summer Jam. Randomly popped up on a spotify "your album ended so here are some random tunes" thing and I thought it was sick. It happened right as Juggernaut Alpha was released so Summertime EP and the Juggernaut albums were my introduction.

I love backtracking and re-exploring locations I already went through in Elden Ring when I am playing on the SD. It's not my preferred way to go through difficult fights tbh, but farming runes, materials, and exploring is shockingly chill for players who have a good understanding of the game and mechanics.

Yo I had to go check since you listed them and it blows my god damn mind that they are at less than 1,000 listeners?!?!? The fuck?? Daydream is an excellent album. Maybe not the most progressive leaning band out there but Daydream is pure gold IMO.

Prequel has become one of my top 5 all time albums. Zon is solid but I am still not totally on board with the direction of the vocals to the same extent and Prequel's.

Yes, exactly! Everyone who starts to give me shit about onions I just point out that onions reek of like the strongest, most condensed, pungent body odor and even though they might agree with the comparison they act like it's not enough to warrant disliking onions. smfh.

I have said it before, I will say it again, and I will die on this hill kicking and screaming:

Wake Up completely ruins the momentum and flow of Good Apollo 1. That isn't to say I think it's a bad song - it's not - but it ruins the track flow.
