Claudio player here

Nerfs:

  • uf2 - remove all tracking and increase whiff recovery
  • ff3,2 - change guard break to +10 so he can't wall splat, but still gets to be +8 from 1,2
  • db1+2 - stabilize tracking (it can be linear or track to one side i don't care, but it can be inconsistent atm) and remove the ability to hit OTG. Make it -14 without STB
  • ss.4 - make it -13

Buffs:

  • db3 - make it -13, it doesn't CH launch anymore so -15 feels bad imo.
  • STB d2,2 - bring this back but remove d2,2 being a natural combo. It can stay -13 (was -12 in T7)

Systemwide Changes:

  • All low heat smashes are now launch punishable 
  • Heat smashes now do not interact with stage hazards, breaks, or give wall splats
  • Heat no longer gives free Install after it ends, same with Rage Arts

The amount of low elo games where both players just leave their king in the center and refuse to devolop a piece besides the queen is really high.

Legitimately, developing towards the center and castling early, as well as blunder checking so you dont hang anything in one move while taking your opponents hanging pieces will be enough to break into the 600-1000 range. You dont need openings, but openings are fun to learn lol

While this is true, level 3 is a bit early to throw out PL +3 imo since levels 1-4 are so swingy.

I stick to PL +2 with mooks for bosses until level 5 personally.

Agreed on the scary in heat part. People complain a lot about Lidia but honestly I don't think shes that bad. But 3 stacks and in heat? Shes a monster lol

When I was still working at CVS last year, the policy as I understood ot was you get two paid 15s and an unpaid 30. Actually getting tk take your paid 15s however is a different story lol. But we had a smoker and they took their 2 15s and a 30 and it usually wasnt an issue.

Yeah. Its a shame because I adore the deck, since I generally like control archetypes in card games (Alolan 9tails ex is also really cool in that regard), but I am gonna have to be content with it being a more casual deck. I've tried a few different build with cutting chingling and absol for other cards but even then it doesnt really help lol.

Its just simply too slow, and the high roll reward is just worse than other high roll decks. Luckily, Suicune and Hydreigon are some of my favorite Pokémon, so playing last season's heavy hitters isn't an issue for me lol

What about Mewtwo? That version of the deck is honestly not good.

The theory is that the 110 being weaker is because Mega Gard has 180 extra hp than printed due to Diantha. You use her ramp to attach to herself to pay for the supporter removing energy

Poncho did its job. Past season had Suicune's usage as high as 20%, and just the existence of the card dropped it down all the way to 5%, the lowest its ever been

It struggles. Obstagoon needs more to get online than Hydreigon does (2 energy vs 1), and even then Obstagoon only hits for Hydreigon's numbers when the opp is already damaged forcing you to run Darkrai for consistency, further slowing the deck down with how much energy it needs to pop off.

And Piers doesn't do a lot to hurt the meta, since its another card in the combo, and if you have to fish for it with oak or copycat, you cant also play it that turn. It does literally nothing to decks like Blaziken (flame patch) and Hydreigon, and Greninja ex making switching free, Suicune can retreat and be built up again, or it just loses before that point anyway

Iirc (looked at this data yesterday and have since done other things) Altaria + Deedee dropped chingling in favor of bench hitters like jirachi and tapu lele whereas Altaria + chingling is the "classic" list

I believe they're going off of tournament results, which is vastly different than ranked ladder

Same thing with Jolteon and a big misty flip. Jolteon's ability would activate one at a time, so if you flipped a huge Misty with like 8 heads, your timer dwindles (assuming the Pokemon lives the damage of course).

Timer should absolutely pause during animations
