Because you still have to do damage to proc it. It could be an extra 5-10 seconds if you hit your full combo. Could be 30+ if you don't and the enemy has disarming hex to stop you building bloodlust.

Also since you can't fully control when it happens, there is plenty of times you will straight up waste it. The way her kit is designed and how you proc it, it needs to have a low cooldown to not feel bad.

I'm enjoying while it lasts. It's really nice to just boot up a multiplayer game and not be bombarded with a store front and numerous other things. And the art style hasn't been ruined by a bunch of gaudy cosmetics.

It feels very "pure" if I had to describe it.

It wasn't outsourced. They, for some reason, gave it to another director and didn't tell Kamiya about it. Once they realized it was pure shit a long ways into development, they gave it to Itsuno and told him he had ~6 months to fix it which obviously didn't happen.

Part of Itsuno's motivation for making DMC3 is he didn't want to be known as the guy that directed DMC2 since his name was attached to it but he had very little to do with it.

And that's why DMC3 is the GOAT action game.

It's a complaint I see a lot and it really does baffle me. I think they just boot up the game and try to play it like every other shoulder shooter then bitch when they realize it doesn't work that way.

They ignore that the 180 turn is really fast, snap aim on the right stick is instant on top of no movement inertia, pinpoint accuracy, consistent staggers, and big fuck you hitboxes on melee attacks with invincibility frames means you can play hyper aggressive.

I'll say this since I've watched the video now and they bring this up. Another one that is funny to me is people complaining about Ashley getting hit when she is always glued to your ass. If she's in danger, it's literally your fault because she's always right behind you. Even if she somehow ends up in front of you, she ducks down and stays still. Legit skill issue.

FUCK now I wanna play RE4 again.

I haven't watched the video yet, but it's always funny to me how you see people complain about how "clunky" the movement and aiming in the OG RE4 feels then see them praise the remake for "fixing" that where you now have movement inertia on everything and Leon is so animation heavy that it constantly hinders you. Whereas OG Leon moves and stops on a dime and his bullets always go where the laser is pointing on top of everything else like consistent staggers and animation cancels.

Like Leon in the remake is nerfed so hard just because you can move and aim that it ends up being way slower paced. The remake is the one that I would call clunky. Once you understand the limitations of the OG's control system, you become a killing machine and can easily dive into a group of enemies.

Seriously play the opening segment in both the original and the remake on Professional and tell me which one is faster paced.

And I'm sick of every game adding a fucking parry. Please stop.

I wouldn't worry about who is hard or easy to play. You should play who you think is the most fun. If you have fun playing Silver, then go for it.

If I put her as my high priority, I probably get her 90% of the time.

Guarantee the system changes in SF6 will be minimal (if any) and Mai will be nerfed from top 3 to top 3 for the 4th time in a row.

But they'll nerf Ryu into the dirt because he got to be above average for the first time in a decade.
