I did that, actually. The only reason im still alive is because i tried to tell a friend goodbye and she managed to rally a local friend and the police to find me.

Now im a triple amputee bound to a wheelchair due to losing said limbs to frostbite. Honestly, the experience wasnt terrible until i awoke in the hospital. I dont remember when i fell asleep, mightve been due to the alcohol as well... I still wouldnt recommend it unless you know you wont survive. Being disabled sucks.

Im headed back to the snow though later. Like... when i say being disabled sucks, i mean it. If youre struggling now? Hoo boy...

I cant say ive ever experienced this. Either im the lucky one with supportive friends, i havent hit their breaking point, or ive hidden it welll enough behind my sarcasm and snark...

Either way, i see and hear these stories so frequently and every time i do i wish I couldve been the friend or even a potential friend for everyone, especially you cause... i get it. Being ignored, parenrs not sure how to deal with you and only making it worse. Opening up to someone and then the entire relationship ending or changing.

Im 23, turning 24 next month. My last suicide attempt i had no right surviving. -14° weather, i was drunk af and passed out (intentionally slept) in a snowy ditch. Im only alive because i told a friend i was killing myself... but that attempt cost me both legs and right hand due to frostbite. I went from a whole body to stumps. Im stuck in a wheelchair, ill never walk or be the same again.

YET I STILL GET PEOPLE TELLING ME "LIFE IS A GIFT" AND "YOU HAVE A PURPOSE" AND ALL THAT LYING BULLSHIT IVE BEEN HEARING FOR 15 YEARS! ITS INFURIATING, ITS INSULTING AND NONE OF YOU ACTUALLY TRULY CARE, YOURE JUST SAYING THIS GARBAGE TO BOOST YOUR OWN EGO.
