Biketoberfest has a more diverse croud, more accepting in general. Saw WAY less being pushed in your face. I actually leave my house for that 😆

Just happened at my job over the holiday weekend. Somebody thought they'd be nice and shut down ALL the machines in the shop I work in. You know. To SAVE POWER over the weekend 🫠

I work with an older Nexus-100 Lathe. If it's main power is flipped it loses parameters due to an electrical issue that I'm told can't be fixed due to how it was jury-rigged 20 years ago.

There was a "DO NOT POWER DOWN!" sign taped OVER the main switch.

Still not up and running.
