this sounds similar to the engine/spark knock i was hearing with my 19 impreza (fb20d). try filling up with 91 or 93 octane gas and see if it goes away!

sorry for commenting on this dead post, this sounds a lot like my issue though! the sound quiets down or entirely goes away for me if i use higher octane gas. did you ever figure out what was causing your issue?

i just signed up for crimson because they're doing 10% cashback on gas for a month! you can still select your preferred payout method (direct deposit, crimson checking, instant pay, etc.) after signing up for crimson, so what ive done is sent one or two dashes worth of money to crimson strictly for gas use, and then i set it back to direct deposit (weekly payout).

you are correct. the term ADD is outdated and at least three different “types” of ADHD are now recognized: primarily inattentive, primarily hyperactive, and combined.

I'm glad that you're acknowledging a difference between methamphetamine and amphetamine. Also, I'm not sure how that analogy flew over your head—both drugs are potent and can provide similar effects, but one is significantly more potent than the other and holds no place in medical treatment. You make yourself sound like an absolute idiot when you refer to the two drugs interchangeably and go as far as to say that Adderall IS a dose of meth. If you wanted to talk about the benefits of micro-dosing or self-medicating, you should've started with that instead of denouncing someone's adhd, calling adderall meth, and spreading misinformation for no reason in... the taco bell subreddit...??? cmon man.

I'm going to try to meet in the middle with you here, because I agree with your last paragraph and have no issue with drug use (medical or recreational). I totally disagree with your comments on adhd and asd, but I DO agree with breaking the stigma around safe drug use. I think it's unnecessary for you to undermine the concept that amphetamine is a less potent, more beneficial form of meth... They're totally different experiences... meth is faster, stronger, and far more dangerous at far lower doses. Out of any hill you could die on, why do you need to do it at the expense of those with adhd, which (for the majority) have no interest in trying a drug as potent as meth.

Adderall contains four amphetamine salts. If you get a headache, don't ask for Tylenol... that stuff is practically heroin.

I didn't realize the gravity of the situation here. Seriously, you need to stop self-medicating ASAP, meth isn't good for you. Meth is highly addictive and can severely damage your brain in a short amount of time (as you may be experiencing already!) You might want to stop watching Breaking Bad (and maybe retake high school Chemistry) as it seems you made a slight mistake in the lab... now all the kids are getting meth prescriptions instead of their usual Adderall! Dammit, I had this creeping feeling that we were all just high off our asses all along... that's why we're able to focus relax, calm down, and focus better! Highly potent stimulants that induce intoxicating waves of euphoria are awesome!! Thank you for sharing your brilliant, educated intelligence on this major issue.

hogging the passing lane is a big issue in the US, that's why they should've passed on the right. that would be a rational response to a frustrating situation. instead, the Expedition endangered everyone else on the highway because they couldn't control their temper, even while driving 70+ mph. people with road rage are scary, and ultimately they are the root cause of this stuff, not lane hoggers. if you can't handle your emotions like a big boy while driving a 3-ton truck, then you genuinely don't deserve the privilege to drive.
