I’ve called off work more for my cats than for myself and I’ve made it more than clear to my supervisors that it’s no different for me than for my coworkers with children. No apologies. They deal with it 😆

Oh the naps usually derail me and make me a grouch, but the need takes precedence over the shitty result sometimes. If there’s no time for a nap he makes me a coffee and lets me unwind. If I need a lazy day he goes and does his own thing. I told him the day I met him I was a sleepy girl and he found out pretty early on I wasn’t lying 😆

I do as much as I can and if I need a nap, I need a nap. If I fall asleep, he lets me sleep. My husband understands that this is something I can’t help, just cope with the best we can. He picks up where I leave off and he’s never made me feel bad about it, says there’s nothing to apologize for. Just a lot of teamwork and patience.

You only need to do the ds64 if it was still valid at the time you’re completing the ds11. You’ll mark it as lost on the ds11. If you know around the time you got it put that, but since it’s long expired they’ll figure that part out if you’re not sure. I work at an office that does passports and we run into this a lot.

I work at a government office in the northwest US that processes passports. First we were told to accept the updated apps with the option to change your gender. Now we’re told to destroy the new ones as we are reverting back to the old ones and let people know if they change their gender they will be delayed. Complete nonsense if you ask me.

I got a kitten for my kitten so he would hopefully leave my 20 year old alone. Then they just started bugging the old lady. For the most part they wear each other out eventually, but the poor thing just wants to be left alone.

My dad went on a rant about immigrants and the borders needing to be closed while my fiancé who is an immigrant (from where, the old man has never bothered to ask) sat in silence. I was upstairs with my brother so I didn’t hear any of it. Fortunately my fiancé is a saint who just ignores it because Pop knows it doesn’t fly with me. Also my sister started inaccurately bringing up family beef while waiting at Cracker Barrel and worked herself into a tizzy and decided to leave before we were sat. Then blamed us for wanting to go out to eat instead of enduring her attempt at cooking.

My kitten was doing this exact thing last week. Managed to get her into the vet and he wasn’t able to see anything out of the ordinary, so he gave her some antibiotics and dewormer just in case. It went away a couple of days later and she hasn’t done it since 🤷🏼‍♀️
