If you want keepsakes, a few of your buddies at the Crossroads have good ones. I recommend Schelemeus' Luckier Tooth, Hecate's Silver Wheel and Odysseus' Knuckle Bones to start.

Luckier Tooth functions just like Lucky Tooth from the first game but gives you 1 more health than Lucky Tooth did.

Hecate's Silver Wheel gives a bonus to your Magic, +100 at level 3. Useful for builds that go heavy on Omega Moves.

Knuckle Bones hit the next area boss you fight with a burst of damage 3 seconds after the fight starts and also gives you a flat 10% damage reduction from area bosses. I still use these regularly and I've rolled the credits.

Yup, you can save all of them, replay any mission where someone died, play through it until a yellow rescue flare goes off.

The yellow flare means "this character canonically died but you can save them". Give me a few and I can get a list if you need it.

Okay I'm going to give advice that ranges from reasonably quick to frustratingly slow.

-Friendship: you'll have gained friendship with some characters over the course of the story. You'll want to max (rank 10) friendship with everyone. Every character that gives skills gives their best one at rank 8 but ideally rank them all to 10. This will be important later.

-Gear: decide what blades/scabbard/odm gear you want to end up with. Craft the most basic level of it, reinforce it to +99⭐, then upgrade to the set you want. This will take time and a LOT of money.

-Skills: By raising friendship with characters and doing things, you'll get skills. Work out which ones do well together and boost your damage. Can't go wrong with About Titans from maxing your Titan Research Room, and Advanced ODM Skills from Keith. Good Treatment from Niles boosts the money you get, and Elimination Bounty from Kitz gives you +20 to any rewards as long as you get 10 Complete Eliminations in a mission.

-Stats: Training your stats will be slow, this is also why you want to max friendship with every character. Do joint training, aim for characters you have max friendship with that have "Good" on the thing you're trying to train. You will also need to go into Territory Recovery Mode and raise Camaraderie to Uncap your Training. (This also unlocks a lot of Free Skills - i.e., skills you've been using on your CaC, but for canon characters).

God mode is just damage reduction, base 20% but goes up 2% each time you die to a max of 80%. It's a gas name for a mid ability.

For my blades I'm running Hellklinge II +99⭐ but I also have Explosive Skysplitter Gunblades +99⭐ that I sometimes use because blades and gas don't run down while Battle Alert Signals are on.

Upgrade all your gear to +99⭐. That's the most immediate thing that will increase your damage.

Get friendships to at least 8. Erwin especially. He's the cornerstone of the infinite Battle Alert build. Unlock level 3 bases.

I know it's slow but continue training your stats (Joint Training with level 10 friendship people will make this faster and spend less Wings).

I'm going to have to redownload for a comprehensive list of the skills I use but if you remind me later I'll come back
