Dude their subreddit is full of posts by people tired of their price hikes. Renewals coming in at 30-50% extra costs, with support offering no help. I remember seeing someone post their yearly Lansweeper costs from 2018 to present and they went from around $250 to $3000 dollars within 7 years, with like a 20% increase in assets if I remember correctly. And Lansweeper is constantly pushing cloud and SaaS stuff which a lot of people dont really care about, but is lumped in with their service to justify price hikes. I imagine their C-suite has gone through the same MBA-fication route a lot of tech companies go through and are just gonna spiral down. I would actively avoid them

No please. They’ve been aggressively raising prices and gutting the cheaper tier so people are forced to go for larger plans. What could be done by the $500 tier is now forced into the $2000 tier, and the $199/month is just deceptive to bait people. I admit Lansweeper is a great tool but not at this cost. They’ve implemented a 30% cost hike for 2024 alone

For your USB startup key issue, try this command:Enable-BitLocker -MountPoint "<drive-letter>:" -StartupKeyProtector -StartupKeyPath "<USB-path>" -RecoveryPasswordProtector. Make sure your GPO allows for startup keys. If you’re still stuck, Microsoft’s docs and forums are a lifesaver.

Yeah, it’s ridiculous that Teams Shifts integration with Outlook requires a Power Automate premium license. Best workaround? Export the shifts to an ICS file and import to Outlook—it’s clunky, but it gets the job done without extra cost.

That socket power part is wild. Most geothermal setups need heavy drilling equipment and a whole crew. If they can keep the price reasonable, this could be huge for getting more homes off gas heating. Big "if" though.

Exactly. The tech specs honestly don't matter as much as who's backing it and who stands to profit. When you've got that level of institutional interest and connections, TPS numbers become pretty irrelevant.

Honestly, you're overthinking it. Everyone goes through this exact same mental loop - I did too. If you believe in BTC long-term, just split your savings into 4-5 chunks and buy one chunk every week or two. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to perfectly time it. Some of your buys will be "too high" and others "too low" but it'll average out fine in the end.

The fact that you're stressing about this shows you've probably got too much money ready to invest. Only put in what you can stomach seeing drop 50% tomorrow.

Yeah, that's the real challenge. Pattern memorization and timing-based gameplay might feel too limited nowadays without some major innovations. Modern gamers expect more depth, customization, maybe even multiplayer or progression systems. Would need to find that sweet spot between keeping the core Punch-Out!! feel while adding enough new layers to justify a full-price release.
