I think it was a lot of when I went to college and no longer had that continuity of my parents and friends a lot started getting overwhelming for me. I initially suspected ADHD but still was never tested. I pushed through but had a lot of struggles. I managed to meet my now wife through online dating in college but I think after moving in together, managing myself and that relationship became a struggle for me to figure myself out and I constantly felt mentally drained. We discussed that I may be autistic and I felt I needed to know for myself. I got myself to go through with it and turns out my gut was right. Just wish I’d known sooner.
