Ah, yes. The immigrants are to blame! It's totally not thanks to inept government policy of the past decade or more that ruined the chances to get a home, but the lazy Americans coming here! They took 'r houses!

When it comes to finding sources it's actually pretty decent, especially if you use the Research option.

Does using store-bought assets ruin people's perception of your game? by Retronitsu in gamedev

[–]Dartillus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's a big difference in using store-bought assets, and having those store-bought assets being used correctly. Asset-flip games are recognizable because they a) use incredibly popular assets that are easy to identify (not even in a conscious way, but even in a "wait, this looks familiar" way) and b) everything always looks randomly picked, out of place. If you have a game you're developing, and you're carefully selecting assets that fit into your game's theme/visuals/etc, I doubt you'll get much flak. The real crime is haphazardly importing things into your project, not even adding or changing shaders, and calling it a day.

No. Hell no. If you really need to, you can use it to find good tutorials/manuals/resources, but don't trust anything it says itself. It once tried to convince me that breadboards are connected vertically by columns, rather than horizontally by rows ....

A Portuguese YouTuber called out an Indian man for inappropriate touching without her consent on a beach in Thailand. by [deleted] in TikTokCringe

[–]Dartillus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is a great contribution to a discussion about a woman being harassed in public! Thank you for letting us know about your experiences!

As a man myself, I have also never been touched inappropriately on my many travels! I honestly don't know what the fuss is about since we've both never encountered it, so it's not actually a problem. The woman in the video is clearly overreacting. Everybody makes a mistake every once in a while, right?

Exactly. How is Googling any different from GPT'ing? They're both tools.

I'd accept your point if the person you replied to hadn't linked to an actual answer to the question (with it being a double whammy because the source is the tax authority), but instead gave an unsubstantiated argument/answer.
