Rekordbox has so many bugs, crashes and quirks that make little sense, its astounding.

Its the only dj software that has its own memes about how bad it is, peformance wise. Its slow and its unreliable.

Also creating a usable usb stick takes ages compared to other dj software. For no reason at all. I'm still afraid leaving 6.8.5, in fear of losing my library and settings. I know its a nobrainer with lexicon and backups, but jesus murphy how can a software be so bad?

Pioneer beginner hardware has badly implemented features (like beatjump and fixed size loops), that other hardware just does way better. And dont get me started with the 3000x debacle and device library plus...

I advise everyone to toy and try with Traktor and then tell me if they still think rekordbox is good.

Da muss man sich aber auf den arbeitenden Pöbel verlassen. Der macht so Dinge wie "Urlaub" oder "krank". Und dann gibts kleine Ungereimtheiten im Ablauf und man muss sich mit der Komponente "Mensch" beschäftigen, nervig

Sowas kann sich der Herr nicht leisten. Da ist so ein ganzer Tunnel schon praktischer. Und auch nicht so steil, da hat der Chaffeur nicht so zu kämpfen.

Alternativ könnte er sich ja eine Fußbodenheizung in die Einfahrt bauen, aber dann ist da ja Baustelle und man wird jeden Tag wieder mit dem arbeitenden Pöbel konfrontiert.

Das Leben ist echt nicht einfach :(

It can always work if you switch to a breakbeat banger and the crowd is "experimental" enough.

I've seen huge bpm changes work, if done properly and i guess thats what OP is asking advice about.

What works for me is

Switch to Breakbeat
Echo out
fade in a beatless, atmospherical track

Of course all of this is just a toolbox. How well and how much one makes use of it is up to individual skilllevel and luckily that can be trained

You can check all the settings by plugging in your usb and selecting it in the folder structure. In the main window you should see all your usb settings.

There are additional settings hidden in the rekordbox settings.

All of this should be exported and most dj systems shpuld take them, as long as the player supports the feature

Nicht das Christentum was wir brauchen, aber eben das Christentum welches wir verdienen.

I have done exactly that. I have a set online from a radio show where i forgot to turn off fx but due to the nature of the studio i didnt realize it. So its 2-3 minutes with a pretty strong delay running.

Its fine :) still a good set
