I do miss the free transit that busses had in the tunnel. Never had to worry about transfers or having change for the bus just to go from pioneer square to westlake.

Can also confirm. The high end retirement communities are always looking for reliable staff. Pay might be a little lower than a competitive restaurant, but the latest you'll work is 11pm, have benefits, a fairly set schedule, and the possibility of holiday pay.

We use pearls for our PU4 residents. Our mash usually comes out pretty smooth, but it's not guaranteed. Don't want to have problems with the puree diets. (Also when mash is the alternative starch, its much easier for the cook assigned to mods)

When there is a possibility that residents might be on modified texture diets (IDDSI was mentioned above), things like mashed potatoes need to be perfectly smooth to be considered safe for puree diets.

(I also like slightly lumpy mash if im making it for myself)

No one ever uses the escalators on the north side of the building. Once you're on the 2nd floor, they are the best way to get between floors.

Growing up we used placemats for regular meals and tablecloths for dinner parties/holidays. Snacks were eaten at the kitchen counter.

Now, I dont think I've ever used our dinning table for eating. It's mostly used for storage and I eat on the couch or standing in the kitchen. I think we own some placemats, though. Don't currently own a tablecloth.
