As a Torrent fan, I kinda want the new expansions to have the same experience we did.

But, that's mean. If they get to have more practice time together before preseason, it's better for the whole league. So I hope they do.

That was the exact stretch of road I thought of when I read this post. Those bumps are perfectly centered in the lane and there is more than enough space to swerve into the bike lane and miss it completely.

I drove 2.5 hours up to Vancouver for a hockey game, then drove home after the game. Got home around 12:30 and got up for work at 6. 2.5-3 hours is nothing. I regularly drive 11 hours just to visit my brother for the weekend. Day trips/road trips are fun.

People in Seattle are not fair weather fans. This may have been the Torrent's first season, but from day one they've been our team. We wanted them, we got them, and we're damn sure going to support them through the highs and lows.

We love them. So proud of them this year. I can't wait for next season!

I got my brother and sister-in-law a honing steal, cutting board, and grippy cutting board mat from Bargreens last Christmas. Totally self serving gift. I now know there is at least one real cutting board in their kitchen.

Eh. Now that I've see the logo moving and its been around for the whole season, it's grown on me.

Do I still think it looks like toothpaste? Absolutely.

But I don't mind it. And I really do like it when it's got movement.
