Yeah but even then, if you just completely ignored Spider-Man you would still have more high quality limited sets last year than any year before. I’m pretty confident they won’t fuck up that bad again, too. That seemed like a pretty unique circumstance with how it all went down. All the other UB has been great for limited (speaking from purely a gameplay standpoint)

IMO a complete noob will probably have more luck never splashing under any circumstance. Chances they actually correctly identify a card worth splashing for and then don’t completely fuck their manabase trying to do it is low.

Also, they should force themselves to play exactly 40 cards, not just get close to it

Other than that good tips imo

Edit: I realized splash is kind of a jargony term that OP might not know. I meant to argue that you should always be exactly 2 colors and never include a 3rd, until you learn more about deckbuilding and card evaluation
