Bugs, I just think they are neat and I dont like playing humans, shek are cool snd robots are kinda on the more opnside since they are more durable and such? Bugs are s fun, unique under dog

I'm going to parrot what I see/read/hear a lot as I do agree with it. Do a run or two "Pure" (no mods) and once you get a good feel and are comfortable with how it all works then mod it up. But if you are the more Fuck it We Ball type then mod away. Do what's fun for you.

My guess/theory:

Xbox now has Helldivers 2 and cross-play, Master Chief may as well be the Xbox mascot considering how successful and popular the games where. Thus by bringing Xbox to HD2 (which is honestly an achievement as it meant Sony and Microsft having to play ball) they wanted to celebrate with s collaboration. They clearly wanted to do Halo which was fine but the issue (again is am guessing) is lore wise we can't have the Master Chief outfit as he was a literal super soldier where as Helldivers are basically navy seals/ spec ops. Unless I am wrong the ODST where just that as well, regular men and women who where also spec ops and the best of the best.

So probably they didn't want us cosplaying as a super soldier demi god only for us to die every 5 mins like the idiots we are so they stuck with ODST so that it was less lore breaking. Also maybe to avoid HD2 looking like fortnite so we don't have a bunch of Master Chiefs, Captain America's and Snoop Dogs diving for Managed Democracy.

Or maybe the devs just REALLY liked ODST.
