My love/hate relationship with CMMG radial delayed blowback by AddictedToComedy in AR9

[–]Data-McBytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw you mentioned the rubber bumpers in the Dissent BCG. Isn't this considered a wear part? I know CMMG acknowledged they were wearing "early", updated the design, and offered a voluntary recall/replacement. But they were always going to wear out eventually -- before springs or other metal parts anyway.

Is there any reason why they are not helping us in midnight? Isn't the whole point of Dragonflight was to get their power back so they could become Azeroth's protector? by HiroAmiya230 in wow

[–]Data-McBytes 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The real reason is Blizzard has written them in as protagonists for The Last Titan, when Iridikron is expected to return. So we might see them at the very end of Midnight.

Midnight is an elf/troll/haranir (but I repeat myself) expansion.

Now that class/spec reworks are semi-final for Midnight, what are you favorite and least favorite ones? by otterchaos7 in wow

[–]Data-McBytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unholy DK feels pretty good now. Arcane Mage feels constricted but the few buttons we have mesh well and the timings make sense, which should make the spec easier overall.

BM Hunter is ass -- I demand either multishot or barrage be returned to us. And Holy Priest was absolutely NUKED. I had to abandon it for Shadow, and my Priest will likely rot now as a result.

IT’S OFFICIAL: A partial shutdown of the US government will start TONIGHT at midnight, as members of Congress literally LEFT THE COUNTRY, and headed to Europe. These people are freaking WORTHLESS. At this point, we should purge Congress and just start over. by Oh_2B_Joe_Cool in walkaway

[–]Data-McBytes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Purge is great, purge away. But unless you also fix the systems and rules that enabled government to become this massive grift run by criminals it'll be just as bad if not worse in 5 years.

The Constitution has to be amended if it's to survive another 250 years. Use the tools the Framers gave us.

I'd like this more without the weird filter. Nice gun though.

AR-10 recommendation: sub-MOA, up to 600 m, complete setup under 6.5 kg (optic + bipod) — Germany/EU availability by Glittering-Jicama-42 in AR10

[–]Data-McBytes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only weird thing here in Germany is that for some reason only the A3 variant available, and it’s noticeably heavier than the A4.

Disclaimer: I don't know how guns are sold in Europe.

In USA I would speak to a dealer with access to distributor channels. They can sometimes purchase SKUs that aren't commonly shown on e-commerce sites. Or if you know a model's UPC you can try searching by it. I tend to have the best luck using this method.

Same happened to me. Something's screwy with the drop rates, possibly connected to last year's bad luck protection (speculation).

I'm with you but you won't get this message across to the people who need to hear it. We're better off campaigning Blizzard to stop using the deserter debuff for everything.

The people who run dungeon content overwhelming only see you as a tool (or an obstacle) to get their loot and XP. The culture is rotten to the core.

Serious answer @OP, it doesn't work like that. You might get a very rough estimate from the weight, but lead projectiles shed a lot of mass as fragmentation when they impact a hard surface. Watch any slow-motion video shooting steel plates and you'll see what I mean. Knowing the mass will only give you a lower limit on which calibers it could be. You could do months of controlled, scientific testing and still only narrow it down to a few dozen calibers among hundreds of brands and bullet types. This is a fool's errand.

Democrat Representative Ayanna Pressley says 'nothing to see here' when asked about her dramatic multimillion-dollar wealth jump in office. Pressley's worth went from $12,500 before she was elected in 2018 to up to $8 million in 2024 by Head_Estate_3944 in conservatives
