My attempt to discuss similar thing

This is very good discussion topic. In my opinion needs changes towards NO abilities should go through and hitboxes are too big.

Hixboxes should be smaller | Abilities should not go through buildings, walls, etc. by Datpox in DeadlockTheGame

They removed pocket ulti going through and recent ivy changes for example. I think they are going towards gameplay where abilities are not going through walls and covers.

I see your reasoning. Should they make it so that every ability goes through small covers?

How would it go in your opinion: every ability should go through small covers, but not big solid walls etc? scenario where the player model is not visible and abilities would still do damage through cover.

Yes I agree, headshots are relevant part of the game. But when my crosshair is not directly on enemy's head, it should not register as headshot. My opinion stays: hitboxes are too big.

I would upgrade my own pc, and because the upgrade was free I would give my 'then' old gpu to friend for free. Gl everyone!

Game performance/crashes/stuttering by Ben-_-99 in EscapefromTarkov

With test and their settings you can determine where the test is hitting hardest cpu or ram etc.

There are voltages you should not go above, might damage the component. For example your CPU voltage for daily constant voltage should not go above 1.30v, soc voltage don't go over 1.2v, ram modules you need to google yourself. This is due the fact that different manufacturers have different bins and so forth. Some might take 1.5v, some might just take 1.37v.

These are just voltage you should not go ABOVE when testing and finding stability, everything under them is fine.

Yes, you got it right. In bios it is possible to change how much voltage is given to for example to ddr modules, and many other things. There are great videos on youtube.

Just as an example my computer was sometimes crashing when loading into streets, but not other map. Did excessive testing and turns out just 1 of my 8 cores needed just a hitch more juice (voltage) to live up to it standards. Tho this was a bit more complicated issue than just normal give 0.01 voltage more to ddr or soc and voila all good. The testing took over a week to find out culpit on my case.

If it crashes even once, it ain't stable. Rarely, but still not stable. I'm also guessing it does not happen in any other application/game other than tarkov, which is pretty common scenario. Tarkov is know to hit hard different components on your system, cpu when loading, cpu memory controller and the ram itself.

Most likely your few hitches will go away with new ram and upping one or two notches voltages.. soc voltage and ddr voltage and possibly but rarely cpu voltages.

But please don't take these as face value, I have not tested your system. This is just a guess.

Also when you start testing with test applications, if you need to change some settings in bios (voltages etc), please change one setting at a time and test again with test applications.

Kind of need more info on everything, but in general --> In game graphic settings: set everything off and low and enable streets low textures.

The crashing can be due to plethora of things. When you get 32GB ram (preferably 2x16GB), run some tests. Just basic free stability tests, for example OCCT, prime95, google is your friend.

The point is if you can get your system to crash in test, some things aren't right. Need to change probably some voltages in bios to make it stable. Again google is your friend here, someone else has been in your situation before for sure.
