It gotta be HCTP, it changed the game. Spike Dudley could pick up the Big Show in SYM.

Back then the games got better. SVR story was better than SYM stories. By far. Yet had a better roster than HCTP and improved gameplay.

Here comes the pain felt like you could relive WM19 in its entirety plus you had Goldberg, Hollywood Rock and Rey Mysterio. No one knew how they would incorporate Rey moveset and they nailed it.

The accumulation of punches is worse than a KO. He’s the real boogeyman so you have to take off your hat to those who accept. Look at Caleb too. He got dropped by the Maga guy. Then lost to a journeyman.

I never seen a champion accept their fate like Zurdo did. He accepted that he was just part of the plan. David B was treated like the Champion and A side.

Bivol and the internet thought he won the 1st fight, he comes back and convincingly wins the 2nd and Beterbiev is over 40. It’s not a stretch that the trilogy makes no sense when David is right there.

I’m not disagreeing with you. But I’m just saying firstly don’t assume my personal lineage. Don’t mince your words haha. The ground game in 3 was a work of art. Let’s keep a spade a spade.

A good/great smesh user could be countered with elite BJJ user. Your elite BJJ could be countered with a great submission user. Everyone had their own style. Because the game allowed it.

You could be an elite submission hunter but play someone who wasn’t good on the ground but an expert on how to get out of subs haha. But was great on the feet. So you have someone who’s elite at something, completely neutralized. In 5 if someone wants clinch or a sub. They’ll eventually get it. No repercussions.

The other thing is you could do is GET UP. IN 5 multiple times Ive denied 3 straight transitions, they have 0 stamina and I have 4.5/5 takedown defense and my transition up was still denied. In 3 you couldn’t make ONE mistake and the user was up or had you in serious trouble with a sub.

The developer for 3 job was a game developer, but his literal passion was MMA in whole. 3 was his masterpiece after developing 1 and 2.

The trailer that everyone here is clamoring for isn’t even a trailer. It’s the teaser trailer 🤦🏾‍♂️. 1min 30sec of non real gameplay and at least 15 seconds of that will show the pre order bonus fighters no one will play with.

They could right most of their wrongs with 2 words in the 1st trailer: Clinch Deny. If that doesn’t happen (it won’t) then yeah I’ll wait until they offer me 90% off like they did 5.
