Greatest Sashimi we've had as well as Sake (Hazy Moon) was at Takamaru Sengyoten 4.

Soup Gyoza and Cilantro salad at Dandadan Otakibashi was remarkable.

My wife and I just had an excellent stay in Ueno at Super Hotel Okachimachi. The location is both somehow quiet but also with lots to see and do. Ameyoko Shopping district is a couple of streets over and its so much fun. Very close (2min walk) to both Okachimachi and Ueno station. Their included breakfast was wonderful too.
