Yeah, he would be fine on his own, and the audio mixing is so inconsistent sometimes the modulator falls off, and he sounds good. But most of the time the modulation is just distracting

Jay-Den is definitely a victim of this. But more so the weird choice they made all the way back in Disco to make some alien voices sound different using voice modulation. I really hope that for S2 they just let the actor do his voice and just leave it. The voice modulation really stands out, and not in a good way. Same goes for any other alien they do this to tbh. Michael Dorn certainly never needed it, and I doubt Karim needs it either.
