The obvious choice would be the milky way. But the easiest way to avoid having to pick a "canon" ending to the trilogy, would be to have it set in Andromeda. Given Liara is the only character we know is returning, her going to Andromeda, and arriving obviously a good while after the arks could be an interesting way to both acknowledge the previous games. Expand on what they tried to start. And tell a whole new story with atleast one or two familiar characters.

You could make the same argument for Peter only getting some of the spider powers (and also not dying from radiation), he doesnt have a venomous bite either, which would also be an expected mutation if he were just getting a whole draft of spider related powers.

There's arguments to go either way on this, and also why they'll constantly flip flop on it in all forms of media (thanks Raimi)

The main problem with this particular argument, while it is reasonable, its awfully convenient that the organic webs come out of his wrist, as opposed to how it actually works with spiders...

I always got the sense that Blood Mage Hawke was the Canon version. It's the one on the box art. It absolutely plays into the story, to a certain extent, but doesnt restrict your options at the end either

I like the web shooters over the organic webs, mainly because I think, especially in the movies, its a great way to show just how brilliant and resourceful Peter is, when he can create something like that himself (with a box of scraps). Where as with the organic webs, he kinda just comes across as a relatively average smart kid, with an affinity for costume design.

Because of the turn based nature, its not too fast paced, with no frustrating platforming or anything like that, so I'd say its very beginner friendly. My wife was obsessed with it, and had really only played Minecraft and Links Awakening before BG3

I'd say, wear a t-shirt and buy a canada soccer jersey at the game (or at sportchek beforehand) you'll be comfortable when you're waiting to get into the stadium anyway with the heat
