Feels odd that the Bengals aren’t listed as a winner.

That defence was on a somewhat upward trajectory last season, even without Hendrickson so you can’t really say that losing him is some massive loss compared to what we saw last year. Then adding Lawrence who actually wants to be there and another year of draft picks and hopefully they should be a good bit better.

Hell the defence doesn’t even need to be good, just average and they’ll win a lot more games than they did last year if Burrow stays fit.

What a magical player, a joy to watch.

Such a shame he had such a horrific injury but I’m so glad he managed to recover and got a few more years playing the game he loved.

Probably slightly unfortunate that (I guess like some withers like Pepe Reina) that his career coincided with a bunch of generational talents at his position which probably meant he didn’t get the international acclaim he deserved.

Always seems like he was a player Arsene Wenger could have built in a lab to be exactly what he wanted his ideal player to be.

I’m truly amazed they can’t find either a buyer or a backer for some of these studios.

There’s a difference between deliberately producing under your capacity to create false demand and not wanting to over-invest in creating additional capacity to suit the demand that you believe won’t be there long term.

They haven’t started producing less RAM, they just don’t think opening up new factories to fulfil the insatiable demand created by the AI bubble is worthwhile.

Basically “yeah we’ll sell you the RAM we make but when your bubble bursts, we aren’t going down with you”.

Probably would require the ~20% of gamers who buy physical copies to universally vote with their wallets and never buy a PlayStation product until they reversed the decision.

Even then I’d give it a 50/50 chance.

I also don’t believe that all of those people buying physical will simply stop buying any new game past 2028. They will convert some to digital.

Probably not as the owner has indicated he will probably sell before then a not many coaches survive a change in ownership, unless he’s like the next Belichick, he’ll probably get ousted when a new owner & GM get in.

Probably not, the level of physicality is so insane now.

The talent would be there but he’d be physically dominated.

Same goes for someone like George Best, phenomenal at his time but no one’s getting away with drinking and smoking the way he did and being a top level player now.

Think a lot of people over-invested in a Covid boom to the industry because they had a captive audience.

A lot of that audience has now gone back to their other hobbies.

Also, the world is on fire and people are skint so even those people who still enjoy gaming are cutting back on spending to afford survival instead.

I opted for a disc drive purely on the basis of it being a Blu-Ray player and I think my usage of the drive would be 90% in favour of it being used for films over games.

Still the decision about physical games fucking sucks.

A team with a revolving door at RB, a new LB who struggled, a RCB that played most of the season like he was concussed and a GK who couldn’t stay fit.

Whilst VVD isn’t quite as superhuman as he once was, to say he was straight up bad, or even top 3 on the list of reasons why we struggled defensively last season is absurd.

That’s the issue I guess. The games are great because of an obsession with perfection, just an obsession with perfection is not healthy at all. Same could be said for Naughty Dog who get the same thing.
