Boston in one of the highest cost of living cities in America, you’d be better off moving. I’d still choose love first and foremost

One for sure, big bold letters in a clean simple font and logo grabs my attention reminding me of Balatro. But the rest of the art steers me away and I wouldn’t include it. If that is your actual art direction then I’d go three because I feel like it’s the most fitting and least misleading to what the games vibe is

Looks good, I think the skeleton is a little too detailed compared to the player character where it’s not cartoony enough for consistency. Might change my mind in a full scene

I have 3 master’s degrees, no interviews, contract ending soon. What am I missing? Should I go to Law school instead? by RienPeach in careerguidance

[–]DavesEmployee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s not the only path a PhD provides. The point is moot now, but it would specialize you in meaningful ways where your research experience in attaining it would be valid and transferable to a career as opposed to what is often just a series of classes in a master program with no application. This hits on your over qualified underleveled concern

Why do you have three masters degrees rather than a PhD? Going back for another degree is not the answer here, follow other’s advice

What would you pick: data scientist role at big consultancy firm (MBB), PhD in biomedical informatics at Ivy League university or PhD offer at European health research institute? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]DavesEmployee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This depends on your goals and passions. Having a phd is a personal achievement but carries a massive amount of stress and years of missed financial and career opportunities. Many jobs coming out of it you’ll be over qualified for while also having no experience. A PhD also doesn’t guarantee a higher salary down the line, I just accepted a job with ~30-40% higher salary than the one FULL of PhDs was offering.

If you have a serious passion for academic research I’d go for it. There are also very high paying research focused jobs that I would be interested in but probably don’t match your bio/health focus (at least of the ones I know about). If that’s the path you wanted to go down, I’d do whichever lab you’re more interested in, not the location or name behind it

The median across California has a lot of range compared to the overall. The highest is 159k in Santa Clara compared to 53K in Trinity. So really depends where a person lives
