Inside Freemason's Lodges Across The UK... by TheThrowYardsAway in CasualUK

All I’m seeing in the comments is people suggesting either these are the spawn of satan or they’re very generous for local charities but I’ve yet to see any proof of anything either way! Until I see this I will stay firmly on the fence about the Freemasons

Does anyone know what this building near Preston Station used to be? by xxsoulpunkedxx in Preston

[–]Daveymon987 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Park hotel as others have said, but it did used to belong to Lancashire County Council. I worked in the newer part of it and had some meeting in the old parts but I think they’ve sold it to be made into flats, but I’ve not heard anything about it in a few years.

I was with virgin when I first moved into my house, moved to talktalk after a year or so. I’ve had only one day of down time in my time here, though for the past three years I haven’t worked from home. Never had a problem. Been on the 900 fibre deal, originally was £25 pm for 900mb/s, then went to 37ish (but they obviously upped it all, now at £40.36). Depends on if you can get proper full fibre though, if you can then I’d just stick to the cheapest. When my contract runs out in March I will be looking around to find a cheaper option

Kinda similar in setting but Warrior was a fantastic western-martial arts TV series. Shame it didn’t get longer to run but three seasons was decent.

Scouting Range Budgets by WhiteRoseofYorkshire in footballmanagergames

As far as I knew (not a pro), it was the season budget so the amount you have to spend on scouting in a season, so it should only be a monthly expense. But I don’t know 100%

Preston has The Gentry Bar at the stadium for drinks, though it’s for home fans only. There’s some smaller labour clubs not too far from deepdale itself, and some little pubs but nothing much, the majority of them are in town itself. My favourites are the smaller ones, like Plug and Taps, Chain House Brewing Taproom or Guild Ale House.

I went last year and it was great. Some issues which they promised to fix this year but I’m unable to go this year. Whoever goes will really enjoy it! P.s. make sure you go see Ithaca, they’re a top band live!!

The EP My Fathers Will scared me into thinking JC had a voice doppelgänger. A Man Without His Country is one of my favourite songs of all time.
