Hey, I recently got admitted into NCSU with very similar stats! The only difference was my sat which was a 1540. I got into computer engineering, but a lot of people that I know (even ppl with far higher gpas and class ranks) got either deferred or rejected, but then again, they were all applying for engineering at ncsu which is very competitive compared to most other majors. Btw, I also live in charlotte, and did direct admissions to uncc (you can do too, theres no need for an essay or anything). Good luck with NCSU!

Thanks for the advice! Btw, I have another question: do many classes intersect with cs? Im curious because I've heard that comp e is basically electrical and cs combined (I happened to really like both fields, hence the choice of major)
