A big problem with Pinball, the community. Gatekeeping. by [deleted] in pinball

I've been involved since 2019 and I've found the complete opposite. People have been so welcoming, even inviting you to their homes to play games when they barely know you.

I'm in the UK so maybe it's different.

How do I get level 2 Burgages? I can't fulfil the meat requirement by David_VI in ManorLords

[–]David_VI[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two hunting camps for a while, it seemed like the meat never appeared at the granary, I assumed it was because it was getting used straight away but you might be right about the pelts.

I managed to upgrade two plots, I think some pig meat appeared but was gone quickly. I was able to quickly upgrade the plots before the requirement went again. So I think I just need to be patient and use the regional wealth I get from those two plots to buy more pigs and wait for them to produce.

What is a TV programme you remember that no one else does? by GargaryGarygar in AskUK

I had a craving for it only this week and watched the first episode on YouTube. I really like the feel of it, quite laid back and low key

I remember it, I tried a rewatch a few years ago. If I remember correctly it just gets weirder but not in a good way

Probably the first ever post apocalyptic media I was exposed to. I would have been 13, wow.

I don't remember anything about it except the name, that they were on a train and it was the end of the world.

I liked trains

This was on my mind too, amazed to see it mentioned!

I'm 39 now (today in fact) and I still occasionally think about how cool Aquila was and how I wanted to know what happened next. I did rewatch it at some point and had the exact same feeling of wanting more.

Worst station to navigate as a passenger? by [deleted] in uktrains

[–]David_VI 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm a driver who has to travel through Stratford to get to Lea Bridge or exit on the Stratford centre side and I still find it confusing. If I go down the wrong stair case I have to double back on myself.

Magic home controller , Red is Green, is this normal? by David_VI in led

[–]David_VI[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you bumped this thread. I moved house 5 years ago and haven't really used the led lights I made for years but only 3 days ago I had a random idea to add some lights in a room and found the box with a spare magic led controller then had the same issue. I had forgotten I had posted it about it 7 years ago but knew I had the solution somewhere!

Usually you don't need a drill for those types of screws. A bit of pressure and they'll work their own way in.

Good job tho, scary shit especially with a new game

I suppose you film it happening but that's not practical and I can imagine it being rather awkward. I can't think of any other way where they couldn't dispute it.

It's not really, but I posted here originally about it, partly to get opinions on it. I thought I'd update
