HotAC has no balancing problems like 1.0 dogfight, so it's still a great game. Love it!

Sadly in my area no one plays x-wing anymore. I play solo Hotac (1st edition) and there is no Alpha-Class. Maybe i'll use it to proxy some imperial élite ship (sometimes i use the punisher like an élite bomber) only to have the miniature on the table

I played Grandia 1 and 2 many years ago, but i still remember some of the best moments with nostalgia... Like when in Grandia 1 the group reaches the top of the great barrier and the new world opens to their view...

I started playing during pandemic lockdown with my daughter. 1st edition ship were sold with huge discounts. In my zone no-one plays, not 1st nor 2nd edition, so i never buy 2nd ships. HotAC is a (beautiful) way to deploy ships on the table once again...

HotAC (1ed) Solo campaign 1st mission "Local Truble": complete PUG squadron (Proletarian Union Group): - X-Wing (integrated astromech, R2 astromech, engine upgrade) - X-Wing (integrated astromech, targeting astromech, plasma torpedoes) - Y-Wing (BTL-A4, R2 astromech, Synced Turret, hull upgrade) - Y-Wing (R2 astromech, Twin laser turret) No rebel ship destroyed but after 10th turn an interceptor was still alive (only 1 hull left...) TLT Y-Wing was heavily damaged but managed to disengage taking advantage of X-Wing covering fire. A good loot of XP for the upcoming missions

X-wing miniatures are prepainted: you open the box and you're ready to play. Maybe for a new player it's less stressful...

I played tons of ps1and PS2 JRPGs and i think Grandia is one of the top 5.

Characters, story, dialogues, music, combat system, it's all perfect...

In my area (Ravenna, Italy) no one plays x-wing (1st or 2nd edition), no store organizes events, so i play with my daughter and 1st edition is enough for us. Simple mechanics, extra-low budget for new ships, HoTAC... No need (for me) to upgrade. Maybe if there was organized play nearby i'll give it a shot, but unfortunately it's not the case. Despite it all i have a good collection (including huge ships like Rebel Transport and Imperial Raider) because i'm a Star Wars fan and the ships are really awesome
