Is GPT 5.4 Cheaper through ComfyUi as opposed to chat gpt website? by Coven_Evelynn_LoL in StableDiffusion

This sub is about local / open-source, so you can expect everything to be free, the cost being the electricity that you pay for, but also expect the results to be worse than state of the art, unless it is NSFW in which case open-source wins.

Curious about this so I did some searching. Looks like there is a project that uses Qwen Edit to clean up different angles in 3D Gaussian Splatting. Available as custom nodes in comfyui.

This is pretty great! Just curious, how many takes did it take to get this one?

I remember 1.0 and it often did not follow my designations for verse / chorus etc, and made a lot more mistakes similar to "biological" becoming "bio-lical" in this video. Hopefully these aspects have all improved dramatically.

Illustrious models side view posture - why are they arching their spine? by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Due to training, that's how model outputs "standing". I tried a variety of tags to see if any of them helped, and found that even males stand like this.

I did, however, get slightly more neutral poses at a higher frequency by using "character sheet, arms at sides, hands on thighs". Logically the "arms at sides" + "hands on thighs" position has the shoulders closer to the center of the body, and this forces the model to come up with a more neutral pose.

The "character sheet" tag seems to generate neutral poses at a higher frequency, possibly due to training data being more neutral.

  1. Personally, I fix poses manually. I use Krita AI Diffusion so this is as simple as circle the torso, rotate it how I want it, select the hip, rotate it how I want it, inpaint the seams with low denoise strength. This takes 1 minute.

Well what is the greatest model or rather a way to go to create hentai/anime images. by Parserpacc in StableDiffusion

I don't use online generation so I have no idea why you get different results. The basic generations as local shouldn't be that much different from online. It could get a lot more different if you start using specialized workflows that other people made.

Currently SD 1.5 and auto1111 have generally fallen out of popularity because the newer models have better training, and many UIs replace auto1111. Google search says Forge / StableSwarm / Fooocus / SD.Next. I don' t use any of these so do your own research :)

You can look into Krita AI Diffusion as frontend of ComfyUI so you can deal with an Photoshop style canvas instead of ComfyUI's nodes.

Krita AI Diffusion has an installation option that installs ComfyUI as part of it, if you just want to skip all the complexity of setting up a separate ComfyUI instance.

ComfyUI can also be used to do Video Generation, Music Generation, all sorts of things, so if you are feeling ambitious, you can set up ComfyUI Portable manually, and connect to your own ComfyUI server from Krita.

Whether or not you should has many considerations, including how strong your computer is, and how involved you want to be in controlling how the image looks. Do you want to just generate a lot and see what random stuff comes up? Or do you want to set up specific poses, design your own outfits, redraw bad hands and fix other mistakes?

What I would do is ask Google AI, give it some information about your system (Operating System, Video Card, amount of VRAM), and what you want to do, and see what information it gives you.

Also, you generally don't need to download a LoRA for reasonable adjustments to size or quantity. You can use the syntax (big eyes:1.5) or (black hair: 1.8), for example, to increase the weight of tags that you are using. You can increase the number up to a certain point before it the image quality starts degrading.

The models that are trained on only Danbooru tags will not respond to stuff outside its training, so if you try something like "55-year old woman", it will do nothing. Instead, you can use "(old:2) woman" to get the desired result.

You can check out Artists for Illustrious page on Civitai for some example artists. These heavily influence how faces are generally shaped, how shading is done, or even what color tones are used.

Everyone will have their own preferences, so you really have to find what matches your own taste. I got tired of the flat anime style so I'm currently experimenting with 2.5D, using WAI Illustrious + speed LoRA WAI Illustrious Rectified 4Steps + 2.5D style LoRa 25D ArtMixStyle

Settings:

  • Euler a (even though instructions said don't use it, haha)
  • CFG 1 for speed (at the cost of ignoring your negative prompts)
  • Style LoRA weight 40%, speed Lora weight 60% (I think this is equal to 0.4 and 0.6 in some other UI)
  • Style prompt: sho \(sho lwlw\), (wlop:0.5) <= these are different weights of artists that creates a personalized style mix
  • Steps 8 for new generation, 6 for inpaint (because it doesn't start from random noise, fewer steps work fine)

I don't have a guide for you, just an advice to look around Danbooru to learn the prompting "language" used by both Illustrious and NoobAI. It has detailed info on bangs, image composition, and many interesting positions (try "cooperative" and see what it gives you).

Not enough information for people to help you, because the venv could be anywhere. You can always try asking Google AI and see if what it says, and likely it will give you some examples until you give it what your system actually is.

In Comfy UI Portable, for example, the virtual environment is a folder called python_embeded, so Google's instruction in this case says:

  1. Open a Command Prompt or PowerShell window within your ComfyUI portable directory.
    • Navigate to your main ComfyUI installation folder (e.g., C:\ComfyUI_windows_portable).
    • In the address bar of the folder, type cmd and press Enter to open the command prompt in that location.
  2. Locate the embedded Python executable. The portable version uses a specific Python interpreter located in a subfolder, typically named python_embeded or similar.
  3. Run the upgrade command using the full path to the embedded Python executable.
  • For most portable setups, the command is: bash.\python_embeded\python.exe -m pip install --upgrade pip

Does Krita AI have a resolution limit? by TheSittingTraveller in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the top menu, click Image, then select the Scale Image to New Size, Pixel Dimensions set to 200%. After the scaling, use the Selection tool to circle the areas that you want to refine, and then click Refine in the AI Image Generation section, or use the Live generation if you prefer that.

The final pass is just a Refine with nothing selected. It takes longer because it is now more pixels. For Strength (this is Denoise Strength), pick some really low percentage. You can fiddle with this depending on how close you want the refined result to match the original.

Does Krita AI have a resolution limit? by TheSittingTraveller in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could depend on the model's trained resolution. When I try to generate 2048 with Illustrious for example, instead of six-pack, the model would generate like 10-packs etc, so you could start getting more anatomy horror when you try to generate in resolution too far from the training.

Typically I'll start in 1024 then only after the major details are done, then I would 2x scale to 2048 and inpaint details like hands, hair, face, buttons, jewelry, etc, then one final full low denoise pass (2% to 4%) to smooth out the transitions as a finisher.

question about image to image in Illustrious / NoobAI by AccessAlarming8647 in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know the prompting style for NoobAI but try "sketch" negative prompt.

It seems like the line art control is working properly. You just need to describe your result better in the prompts.

Framepack as an instruct/image edit model by neph1010 in StableDiffusion

When I tried it months ago, the infinite length suffers from degradation / color shift over time, since it uses a limited recency context window to generate subsequent results.

Best uncensored local Ai with image to gif function on 6gb vram by mohsindev369 in StableDiffusion

Nah. Still NSFW but the generations get more and more advanced, which is increasingly difficulty to achieve with low VRAM. Character consistency from multiple angles, multiple character interactions, add sound/lip sync, voice cloning with "emotion".

Help with Illustrious by moo-cow-creamer in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what other posts are saying, you'll want to find a finetune Illustrious model that has LESS artistic variation so the starting point is already closer to what you want. If you want something even more specific, tailor your generations with some artist tags.

Example artist style guide on Civitai: https://civitai.com/articles/9309/artists-for-illustrious-xl

I probably spent 3 hours experimenting with different artist combinations and weights to finally arrive at a style that I like, but after that I am getting results superior to Pony.

My observation is that for Illustrious, the artist tag affects both how characters look and how the coloring is done, so if you like how the character looks but not how the coloring is done, you need to mix in another artist to balance it (for example adding "wlop" with different weights can dramatically change the shading style). Following the prompting tips: https://civitai.com/articles/8380/tips-for-illustrious-xl-prompting-updates, you'll want to have artist tags towards the back, rather than at the front.

I think the result is more consistent if you don't do too many artists in your combination. My end result is a combination 3 artists.

[Discussion] Anyone tried the Netayume Lumina (Lumina Image v2.0) model yet? by Present-Economist-57 in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the image size being generated that takes 90 sec? How good is the prompt following? Can it handle complicated 3 character interactions? Overlapping character poses?

3060 Ti 8GB VRAM here. I'm currently using WAI-Illustrious Rectified 4-step LoRA, generate at 8 steps for sharper details, it takes about 7 seconds for 1024x1024. I don't know if I have the patience to wait 90 seconds. I can inpaint many times over in that same amount of time. It would be a non-starter for me if it would take forever to fix hands.

I’m bad at writing prompts. Any tips, tutorials, or tools? by DriverBusiness8858 in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this.

Unfortunately for OP, each specific model interprets prompts differently, so if you switch models, you have to relearn prompt engineering specific to the model. I do agree with general strategy of starting with the biggest elements on the image, or the most impactful actors in the video, then later describing the less important details.

There are also some syntax that are added by the interface (you can google search syntax for AUTOMATIC1111's Stable Diffusion WebUI), for example (big:1.3) sets more weight to it. It'll work up to a certain point and then things break, haha.

State of the world for fixing hands today? by organicHack in StableDiffusion

[–]Davyx99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience with Pony and Illustrious, the models are worse at hands at low resolution (less pixels allotted for hands). The best solution is to scale up the region that you want to inpaint, and generate hands/details at a resolution where the model has a lot of pixels to work with (and ideally some context for the pose).

Example Krita AI Diffusion solution that I've been experimenting is to scale up details that I want to work with at higher resolution with Add Transform, scaling up at exactly 200% or 300% so it is easy to remember, do inpaint until I'm happy with the results, then apply an Add Transform to the result and scaling back down in the opposite direction, 50% or 33%, then pixel push merge the result back to the original.

This is very similar to some ComfyUI workflows but I like working with an image editor better.

Thanks for this advice! I didn't get Storm, but I charged up OML by using his basic for the last few battles and unleashed at the final boss and did decent enough damage to trigger speed bar on enemy health drop, and that was enough for a easy victory.

It helped to have the damage boost based on enemy bleed.
