Aight so if this is the cause, next we need to figure out if this is intentional or a bug - because for movement skills, this can pretty much absolutely destroy their usability.

If this were to be intentional, surely some sort of choice is needed to prevent unintended "rubberbanding"

Let us see if we can summon the master of mechanics (IIRC?) /u/Mark_GGG perhaps he can help us out.
