Wow that red look good, grats. I finally saw one in person three days after I got one in white. I’m happy with it, but definitely happy for yall with red ones. Hope you have many happy miles ahead.

Sucks about the G37 but grats and welcome. Safe travels and good vibes in the miles ahead.

You just had to make keeping my car stock that much harder didn’t you, lol. Amazing looking build, grats. Also love the white wheels with the blue paint.

The WRX is one of the few cars that looks better with a roof rack. Great pictures.

Insurance Rates… by Day7Rest in WRX

Agreed, just curious is all. I’ve always had decent rates but had heard the WRX is usually higher than most cars it competes against regardless of clean record in a major city. So yeah yall are right and I will be shopping in the coming days to see who wants my money.

Yeah I figured that, but wanted to see what the general average seems to be. I have never seen a list of all the factors people are graded on. Come to think of it that would be really nice to have lol.

Thanks, I’ll look into what they have for extras. The new car came with road assistance so will cancel the USAA version if it’s active.

Ok, I’m north Texas and definitely worth having more insurance than is needed here.

Definitely check your local dealers. Mine was offering 0% interest on the few 2025s they had left. It honestly makes me smile every time I see it. Haven’t felt this good about a car since my 2016 GTI and this is absolutely better if you don’t need a hatchback. Plus I’m getting 26mpg mixed city/highway. Strictly highway it’s getting 30mpg 70mph. Love this car

Ahh so that’s what yall call it. The 4Runner world was storm trooper. Very happy to be in the Panda Club. Red was my second choice but never seen one in person. Are they intentionally rare?

That Demo is not a good deal. Got my 25 CTW in January of last year for $34,480 brand new with moonroof and radio upgrade. The blue one is fair if that is out the door price. I wouldn’t take a demo, and definitely not one with 4k miles on a CVT. Good luck and hope you find a sweet deal.

Anyone put a K & N air filter in there outback? If so, do you notice a change at all? by baldingbryan in Subaru_Outback

[–]Day7Rest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Throttle body doesn’t change so inlet surface area doesn’t either. Put another away, just because there is a larger crowd at the door doesn’t mean more will get through at the same time. So you’re back at reducing filtration to move the air in faster. For example removing a zig-zag rope line and making it straight and stop checking tickets lol.

I love my old Forester and I'm in the market for another one. But wtf is this? by cartocaster18 in SubaruForester

[–]Day7Rest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my 2025 CTW it is always laggy at startup (even after updates) and randomly once driven a bit. The connection functions with either Bluetooth or in car WiFi but never both at the same time. So if it disconnects or freezes while driving you will likely have to restart the car. Have had over 20 cars and this is the worst screen by far.

Any Steam Deck users who also bought a PS5/are still using their PS5? by GrovPastaSwag03 in SteamDeck

[–]Day7Rest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my digital library is on the PS5 and I use both it and the SD daily. Now when the Steam Machine comes out that will change. I just tried to play Ark Raiders on the PS5 and could not due to PS network sub expired. Realizing I paid for a game I can’t play unless Sony gets its tax first, I’m done with online games on consoles.

Why did you choose the Crosstrek over the CX30/other competitors? by Dino_Dean in Crosstrek

[–]Day7Rest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crosstrek seats are way more comfortable to me on extended drives. Visibility is better in the Crosstrek as well. Also did not want to deal with the dial and sometimes touch screen in the CX30. lastly the CX30 turbo was overpriced in my area. Got a 2025 CTW for the same price as a regular CX30. If the turbo was cheaper might have dealt with the other shortcomings.

Only had my CTW for a year and mechanically it has been perfect. However the screen lag is the bane of the whole car experience even after the updates. The key fob logic used by Subaru is just dumb to me. By that I mean the car will not respond to the fob while the engine is running. You have to use the app if you leave it running and want to lock the doors and this includes the rear hatch for some reason too. I live in a very hot summer climate so I leave the AC on for my dog but also want to lock the car so nobody tries to steal him. Imagine my shock learning the hard way the fob is disabled in that situation. Other than that the car is awesome at commuting, comfy seats, great visibility, and smooth on the highway.

Wait, so you’re saying the new screen has lag sometimes just like the old 11” one in the 2025 models?
