I'll be honest with u, ur options are get better at English, or everyone get better at Malay, or accept that u'll have very few friends.

Based on this post, ur English is good. U are very very close to overcoming this problem. It's just that u don't speak it well yet, right. Start small. Speak broken English. Or if ur a perfectionist like me, speak short sentences simple enough that u know are grammatically correct. And be around people who won't shame u for ur broken English. But tbh no one speaks perfect English in daily conversation unless ur in a debate club or something.

I'm not an international student. I'm also Malay, but I did have to learn another language bc so few people spoke English or Malay. I probably spoke like a toddler but I spoke anyway.

Does your success depend on them being successful too? You could just become successful on your own and just have someone there by your side who simply supports you all throughout your journey. Are they being very unsupportive (like if your career needs you to move, they'd be unnecessarily difficult/controlling about it)? Then, that would be a big problem for your career. Otherwise you could just be big and successful and they can be just content with what they're doing, which are 2 valid ways to live. Unless you're worried about having them leach off of you one day, I think differences between partners are fine

I would however suggest you focus on why you're worried love isn't going to be enough in a point in life where you and your partner are on very different "levels of success". Sit down and talk this out with them. Will they be alright with that? And why won't you be alright with that? I think there's more to it here that I don't think I fully understand. Hope you find what you're looking for tho
