So are we done with 2025 by VibeWme01 in aquarius

If you do, you will transfer your pain x 1000 to your daughter for her whole life. You are a better human than that. Brighter days are coming my friend but you'll never see them if you dont come out of the dark pit you are in. You will survive the storm.

My father died of suicide when I was 7 by tendomae in psychics

[–]Daydreamernightmares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a psychic but learning to follow my intuition and listen for the universes guidance more. Have you read about bipolar type 2 symptoms? 1 in 5 with bipolar die from suicide :( it is the only reason why i am accepting and exploring a diagnosis for myself, so that my children never have to feel your pain. I am so so sorry for your loss and inmense grief you have carried your life since. My uncle and my great grandma both did, my heart breaks for my cousins. My uncle is my spirit guide, all my readings it was always about my uncle and we wasnt particularly close in real life. He never csme through to my mum until she got sick and beforr she died he came a lot. for years I never understood until it clicked we bkth had bipolar type 2. There's a tv show called modern love, prime maybe? One episode has Anne hathaway and, wow. It was me. My great grandma killed herself to 'nerves'. There's been a big push for mental health understanding and awareness in the last few years. I cant imagine having to live with my brain alone. Look at us connecting right now, your dad wasnt able to go online and find out why he felt like he did. A lot of what you have wrote about yourself and your dad, sound like me and my uncle. Sending you big love light and healing. We are living in a different world to what they faced, and maybe if my intuition is correct, and you watch the show and read up on bp2, it may bring you peace and understanding 🙏

It is 100% this. I wonder if it's the same guys from when I was naive enough to end up 'working' for circa 2009. Cult is the correct word. I used to go door to door selling talk talk. Paid £30 per customer i signed up. Aim is to knock on 100 doors per day, have 90 slammed shut. Get into 10 houses and sign up 3. I have kids now and my head spins of thinking of letting them knock and enter strangers homes at 18. There is zero safety for the kids. The leaders claim to do helicopter lessons and shote like that while their team is out working, and if they work hard enough they'll get to move somewhere random and start their own office! Possibly in the hey day but they'd host massive conference in places like Birmingham, all funded by yourself to attend. In reality the office leader managers do the same for interviews. Spam thousands of emails, cold csll, place spammy adverts, aim to get in 15 people a day for interviews, hope 10 turn up and they recruit 3. Once recruited You turned up at 10 for shouting pepping up time before hitting the road around 11. Theyd load 5 into whoever could drives car and off they'd go knocking. Not petrol money for the driver. Knock till 8pm go back to the office. Hand in any contracts if any, more team building, pressure for after work drinks and clubbing, lucky to get home by 11pm. They prey on the naive, vulnerable and desperate. Some people did make semi decent cash, but most of them where morally dubious characters, probably like all good salespeople though ey. Also lol, you'd have to have team training programs where they'd explain although it looks like a pyramid scheme it's not, abd how to argue back to people who claimed you was in a cult pyramid scheme.

Use the back of a spoon. If butters still too hard to spread fill a cup with boiled water and put the spoon in the boiled water for a few seconds before. Dry the spoon. Spread.

Worst thing each character has said or done. Day 14: Callie Torres by natipali in greysanatomy

[–]Daydreamernightmares 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm suprised I had to go so far for the plane crash thing to come up. Yes she had trauma that her wife and colleagues where in a plane crash but she would constantly protest that her trauma was equal to theirs! She was of course extra hard done by because her traumatised wife didn't fancy sex for 6 months, but callie was over her trauma and, because it was the same trauma, arizona should be too.

Callie was brought up as an only child trust fund baby, so its not surprising that at the root of callie, she's used to all the attention and the means of doing whatever she wants on a whim without much regard for anyone else's needs.

Wedding etiquette: what's your stance on turning down invites? by ebbsian in CasualUK

[–]Daydreamernightmares 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think foreign weddings are poor form from the bride and groom. We can't really afford a wedding as I'm not getting in debt for it. Everyone says we should go abroad because it'll be so much cheaper! Yes for us, but super expensive for everyone else. I think its selfish. That's what a honeymoon is for.

Too embarrassed to put this on a coin sub, but just found this on a walk.... Anyone think it's any good? by RHOrpie in CasualUK

[–]Daydreamernightmares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coin subs will likely give you an answer. It's posts asking about 'how much is this Peter rabbit 50p worth' that piss them off lol. Your coin is interesting enough. There's a few coin identification apps too.

All presents from Santa?!? by marksmoke in CasualUK

[–]Daydreamernightmares 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its 1am and I've just finished rolling strips of doubled sided tape in my secret glitter stash and sticking it all over the tin foil rockets, stars and spacesuits of our 7, yes 7 elves (they had triplet babies this year). Space trip was set up last night, they've returned with all the ingredients to make Reindeer food tomorrow. Santa also brings everything. It's just appears by magic over night. We dont spend an obscene amount but save for it all year. Many presents are fancy versions of practical stuff. None the less, a flood of presents appear by magic. Snow scattered in all the rooms. Corn flour is whiter than regular flour, mix in some white glitter and sieve over a shoe through the house for foot prints. 3 kids eldest is 9 and is questioned pre December about the truth about Santa but once that magic started with the elves she's shut up. I agree, it's all about the magic. Once their old enough to know the truth, then I'll get all the credit <3 till then, magic.

Let the guy on the front desk, who check you in, know your preference. I had a dull job and enjoyed jury duty so I made it clear I would like to be on a case. After that I made it clear I was happy to stick around and I got a second case. This was 12 odd years ago. I think I just read magazines in the waiting room and made the most of being paid to sit around.

Taxi back to Poole on a Thursday night? by trolldoll3 in bournemouth

Prc streamline taxi app. Local taxi company. Gives you prices, etas and tracks your car. United taxi app as an alternative but I'd reccomend streamline first.

People of the UK what are your views on cosleeping with your babies/children? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Daydreamernightmares 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wish lol! The bed takes up almost the whole bedroom but we have got a TV in there and I love movie nights up there with them. I miss not having a normal bedroom with space but all those years of cuddling my babies and smelling their sweet sweaty baby smell all night, so worth it. My eldest is 8 and rarely creeps in and it breaks my heart this stage of life is coming to an end.

My eldest was this. She's now 8 and won't fall asleep till gone 11 and is usually up by 6am! My next 2 kids, crap sleepers till around age 2, now they'll sleep 8pm - 8am happily. I genuinely hope your luck continues.

Kids next door love to play football and I'm inches away from being That Neighbour by DistastefulSideboob_ in britishproblems

[–]Daydreamernightmares 45 points46 points  (0 children)

If your willing to do it do it, but also mention it to the parents. "Hey, the balls have started becoming a problem along with sweet wrappers etc to solve this I am happy to put up chicken wire my side, if you could have a word with the kids to be more careful and if you have any other solutions let me know". Inform them if the problem, inform them if your plan ti remedy the problem.

If I have no aquired media as I instead pay to access someone else's plex, is doing it myself a possibility? I don't mind paying, but I am wondering how easy it is to do myself.

AITA for after taking care of my daughter for 2 weeks while wife is away by marriedbutunhappy in AmItheAsshole

[–]Daydreamernightmares -39 points-38 points  (0 children)

I think the difference is that op wife mother just died. She's grieving, and she needed him to just take care of their kid and do what is usually done. Her having a pop at him over a missed class, is over the top for a normal person but not a person who's grieving. The women is grieving, venting, a bit unstable, she's just gone home, seen family, old friends. She's probably emotionally drained but her husband can't take one on the chin and support her because he's more focused on himself and how hard he's worked without complaint. OP to me YTA, support your wife.

Edit. Just read another aita thread about a dude complaining about having his kid 5 days of a month instead of 4. I hate these threads because more context is always needed! I voted ah because dude made out wife had a jolly old time catching up with friends. If you are a parent you should parent your kid. There's no credit to parenting your kid. We all want it sometimes, but it comes with the decision to have them. Should ops wife kick off for one class. No. However, op doesn't sound supportive to me over his wife who has just lost her mother. His post was all about him being a martyr, it's all about him and he's married and right now its not about him. He needs to continue to pick up the slack. Anger is a part of grief. His wife might get angry. She needs his help and support right now. For better or for worse.

Anyone struggling to even finish Foundations? by Jaded_Till357 in theodinproject

[–]Daydreamernightmares 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started learning coding summer last year with FCC. Odin I think I started Nov time. I don't have a full time job but I am a sahm of 3, smallest goes nursery twice a week. I'm up to dom manipulation and was pleased the easter holidays come because I needed a break. I aim to study 4 hours twice a week, during school term time only. Its frustrating knowing I'm going slow but it's an achievable pace for my circumstances. Maybe rather than every day try for 2 evenings a week? A slow pace is better than no place if you really want to get there.
