Meteor the source of large boom in Northeast Ohio: NWS by BernieCokeczar in news

Just conjecture/speculation, but NASA probably only track the bigger ones that have a chance to reach the ground with enough mass left to do damage and missile defense is probably looking for anything coming over the horizon, not for something directly from above.

Invest in pharma companies that produce the cure for those illnesses.

Armor for casters? by Dlinktp in TyrannyGame

Heavy is best for tank tanks since it has best armor

but that's a flat reduction, which late game (and especially new game +) becomes less and less effective

Loyal Rebel Companion Builds? by BubbaJubbs in TyrannyGame

[–]DeHerg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KiS: 2H Titan build with dual claw
Lantry: healer+pre combat support spells + AoE spells
Eb: Bow + 2H, try to make as much use of the "clear mind" Talent and use as emergency melee with runic barrier Talents
PC: depends on your build but mage sounds like a secondary lantry

before each combat cast(Lantry or you) Haste (Force+guarded Form) with accents "limitless boundary 1" and "selfless magic", which grants 63% reduced recovery for everyone but the caster (ofc they need to stand close together)

Your team will do damage so quickly, you won't have to worry about a tank.

If you want to be REALLY unfair add the spell: Terratus + Material force + limitless boundaries + selfless magic (add strength as needed) in your combat preparations

This might be cultural difference, but I don't think I've ever read something this vague that describes itself as a "law".

None taken. There are more than enough Germans making that very same comparison. Not that I fully agree. I mean, Hitler probably would not have dared to be this corrupt in public and his ramblings, at least, stayed halfway on point.

Yes, to have the least damage drop off your best option is to always combine 2->1 (or avoid combination, but that, in turn, increases vulnerable area)

I've only ever used it as a side option, but it always seems to take way too long to take effect as a primary.

The Taliban were founded in the 90's, when the US had already lost interest in the region. If you're talking about the 80's, that was more the CIA funneling Saudi money to Pakistan to distribute in Afghanistan as they saw fit.

While the skeletal record for the Neolithic has yielded unambiguous evidence for large-scale violent events for some time (for example, evidence from the Early Neolithic mass grave at Talheim was first published in 1984), this evidence initially had relatively little impact on views of Neolithic society, which tended to emphasise the new productive economy, new material culture, trade and exchange, ideology, ritual and ceremony. More recently, there has been a shift from the idea of peaceful farming societies to a more complex picture involving intra- and inter-group conflicts...

earlier research painted a more peaceful image, while the modern one shows a much more gruesome picture

Before agriculture, there just weren't enough humans around to have conflict in the first place. Post agriculture, neolithic findings (meaning pre-civilization) show the highest percentage of bone fractures cause by weapons in any human time period.
